people don't like to wear weird objects on their comfy houses to play games, specially when so many people already wear prescription glasses.
VR never gonna be massive, industry should assume it.
And when you have a product is something that niche, very few games will blow you mind since only two or three companies can reach production costs.

I got a Quest 2 and I barely use it because I don't have the space (which I assume is the situation of many people) and it makes my eyes extremely dry. I didn't get sick from it but using it is just an inconvenience.

I'd love a better VR setup. I have an Odyssey+ and for as cheap as it was it has been a great way to play around in VR, and there are some solid games out there, but also my space is pretty limited to the point where I'm not sure upgrading would be worth it.

Vivid Knight is currently on sale and a follow up game have been announced

Oh that's fun looking. I really like the idea of single player autobattlers, I've played one on mobile (Dungeon Squad) that's pretty solid. Looks like Vivid is on mobile too so now I have to decide where to grab it from

I enjoyed my time with PSVR and PS4 Pro a couple years ago. But those were mostly games where you could just sit down.

I'm totally down for more VR, on PC nowadays of course. The problem is GOOD PC-VR is quite expensive to get rolling... So I've held off and kept it on the back burner for a while. Now it's time to build a whole new PC and I'm saving for that, so VR gets pushed even further out... 😅

And also they decided to add a new microtransaction currency called Dying Light points. Has any single player game ever added a premium currency 1.5 years after release? I can't think of any until now...
I got you covered

6-7 years after release they tried shoving in premium currency (into a entirely offline single player game with cheat codes. modding, etc) RPG lol

It was so insanely stupid

Downunder.
Nerfs to early game bosses
Ackshually, they also nerfed the penultimate chapter end boss (which was in my opinion, one of the coolest bosses in the game)

Personally, I don't really mind the change, since I've already beaten said boss. But even in patch 1.01 it's not impossible to beat on a wide variety of loadouts. I used energy weapons; but some JP players used melee which is insane, lol. :flare_lmao:

I love VR but I've given up on it. Gamers simply won't ever get it. I've given up on gamers.

I've never played Dead By Daylight before, it's actually very fun.
It can be. When the players stop acting like entitled brats for more then 10 seconds.

The success of the Alien chapter seems like a nice shot-in-the-arm for the game though, even if some of the playerbase are being insufferable and ragequitting against Xenomorphs.

not until ALL those devs stop ignoring steam cloud
Does anyone know if the System Shock 1 remakes Steam Cloud implementation ever got fixed? It didn't sync anything back when it launched, and I put the game on the backburner.

CPUs will burn

for cp2077 my cpu is running like that already so i'm expecting significantly less frames now (which i'm fine with if the payoff is there and the city feels better).

The nerfs for the first two bosses i might not like but understand since so many players were stuck and the game has s-ranks for extra challenge, the main campaign isn't really meant for the player to spend days on a boss.

That said, i don't understand nerfs for the boss you're talking about either, it has so little hp that as soon as you figure out how to deal damage it just dies immediately... i've seen more disappointment that such an epic boss was too easy than frustration at it being hard and that was before the nerf.
