Cleared NG in AC6. Whew, what a ride. Jumping back into NG+ and already seeing some differences. Seems like things evolve over the playthroughs. I'm definitely going to go for a different ending and pick the opposite of all my decisions in the first run through. It is fun going back to these old missions and absolutely wrecking shit with all the parts and skills from endgame.

Balteus? Fucking SHREDDED in like <1min. AHAHAHAHAHA.

I recharged my weeboo core over the last few months and could resume P5R without wishing to harm myself yesterday. Noice.
I’m at what would logically be the last dungeon and last boss in the game, plot-wise. But being early December and the games traditionally ending at the end of the Japanese school year, I have no idea what is going to happen. Can’t say I’m on the edge of my seat, but hey, cool.

On the other hand, I will have to force myself to continue BG3. As much good as it is globally, Act 3 is too dialog heavy for my murderhobo tastes.

I just found out I had a Delta fan in my Deck. This explains a lot.

Though this doesn't explain why I had to follow a fucking link in my browser in order to check that instead of the neat option in settings, that fails miserably.
And I was sure I had the other one, so either they replaced my Deck when repairing it or I'm dumb. Which is, yeah, a non zero possibility.

A guy on Era just said I could buy a new fan with the 1tb ssd. You keep breaking my balls with your fucking normal people dexterity. I will buy this shit, and my Deck will break. And I will be sad.
Or dead if I fuck the battery.

edit
So cool, with the sale on iFixit is out of SSD. Should have figured. FML.

edit 2
Wait no, they are just out of the kits to do the fix. Cool, will buy the SSD and repair with my dick.

edit 3
That was a lot of French. Pardon me, good sirs.

I know it's actually a very different game, but I find it hilarious to how close they are to the infamous Pokémon HD mock ups like

Hell, it looks better, even!
Except, you know, you shoot Grookeys in the face with a shotgun.

I'm quite excited for Palworld, need to play Craftopia at some point now that's it's compelte.

I am really enjoying Starfield. It is perfect game to play in short bursts over a few months. Quests have variety and shooting is good. But best part is as i said before is that there is no rush to do anything in this game, so you make your own pace without story rushing you to do something.

Hey 621, just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS (BALTEUS was harder in 1.0) on the AAP07 BALTEUS (it was harder in 1.0) CLEAR in Patch 1.02! I know you've been working really hard (BALTEUS used to be harder) at it, and I'm happy that you've (BALTEUS used to be harder) achieved your goal of completion. I know your journey through (BALTEUS used to be even harder) the content was filled with ups and downs, but you and (BALTEUS used to be harder) your mech stuck t(BALTEUS used to be harder)ogether through them all, and you were rewarded for your patience and (BALTEUS used to be harder) tenacity. Congratulations (BALTEUS used to be so much harder) once again, and here's to more success in your future (BALTEUS used to be harder) endeavors!!!

Memes aside, it's real cathartic to go back to the old missions and clearing out those bosses without giving them the chance to wind up their second phase attacks. :flare_shades:

Lies of P is amazing.

It might very well be my favorite.souls like not made by from software and, though im not finished yet, even beat the OG's in terms of story, the amount of literature it's drawing from and the ways in which it does is genuinely above most videogames.

Lies of P creates a genuinely amazing potpourri of classical literature in its story, from Pinocchio over Alice in Wonderland to the picture of Dorian Grey and Shakespear, all carried by mediations on Cartesian Dualism as its core theme (hence why the currency is called Ergo, Cogito Ergo Sum)

And most of all the end result created is so far incredibly thoughtful and coherent.

Hey, I beat Balteus 1.0 in NG before the nerfs. :heroblob: Maybe this does explain why he felt like a chump in NG+ tho.

All of that said, yeah it is fun. The new arena fights are interesting again some really tough ones in there as it goes on.

Rolling right through NG+ almost halfway though Chapter 4 again now.

Those are great and tempting words.
But Chalamet. And, gasp, Pinocchio. I’m conflicted. I really can’t stand Pinocchio.

I'm glad Lies of P has some positive feedback, last I read up on it people were complaining that it was pretty dull.
Looks like a case of user reviews being more positive than the press.

A short summary of how I play Pathfinder: WotR:
  • Spend 10% of the time in combat
  • Spend 10% of the time in conversations
  • Spend 5% in inventory management and overall shopping
  • Spend the remaining 75% in the characters level-up menus reading skills and spells descriptions and figuring out if the new bonuses will stack with the ones I currently have and if I want to pivot the character in any way or if I want to pigeonhole it to it's current role.

Watched a YouTube video on the new Steam Deck 3.5 update. The presenter went on and on about the new Color vibrancy setting.... And I saw no difference at all in the picture... the Color temperature setting though- that was noticeable.

IIRC Epic helped them draft that blog post. The devs didn't deserve the hate and it's primarily due to the tone of that blog and Tim Sweeney's godawful response.
I'm going to doubt that since previous announcements of games that accepted the exclusivity deals were not so confrontational, and I find hard to believe that Tim Sweeney himself took a random indie game to dictate their statement to them and not other high profile games that would have created much more impact, which is what he was looking for at that moment.

I also find baffling that none of them thought to say "maybe this message is too harsh especially considering the vibes and audience of our game". Especially when (apart from Tim's response) they only doubled down on the people who thought the deal and the announcement was a bad idea.

I think that now that time has passed and given the failure of the EGS, I think that from time to time the "we didn't want to do it, it was the evil Tim Sweeney who forced us to do everything" effect is overused.

The devs didn't deserve hate and the people who spewed hate and abuse towards them are despicable. They did deserve criticism because their blog post was condescending and passive aggressive at best, insulting at worst. Sweeney did play them like a fiddle, he threw them to the wolves in order to benefit his own agenda.

They were full-grown adults and responsible for their actions but I do kinda feel bad for them since they fell victim to the games industry equivalent of a snake oil salesman.

Is there a way to ban devs that doesn't seem to have set up that corporate page? When you press their names and you get search results for them instead of the corp page?
