Xbox Reportedly Working On Licensing Old Activision Marvel Games

You really should buy some cheap thumb grips. None of my sticks have deteriorate at all since I always put the grip on day one.

I like this one because of the color options.

At least it's coming out soon so we can get it out of the way and get the one that matters on PC.

To the ones who are going to play this, you're not prepared for how bad this game is as a RPG and honestly even as an action game. There's so few moves clive can do it barely qualifies as a DMC clone.

The "is it an RPG or not" discourse is missing the point, even as an action game it's dull

Well we will have confirmation when Rebirth is announced for pc, but for now it really seems like Epic is no longer getting SE exclusives

I couldn't believe that his only combo is a basic like 4 hit square combo with maybe a single magic attack that ends it. The rest of his abilities are tied to the eikons and you can only slot a few of them at once. The game is too basic across the board from the combat to the exploration where you will literally find chests with crafting mats (which don't matter) or 2 gil in it. That's not an exaggeration on the amount either.

I'm happy too, definitely gonna play it during my Christmas break! The only reason I'm not jumping in during September is because it's gonna be a busy month for me!

Yep.

No specific combos needed to take down certain enemy types.
No alternate weapons for each Eikon.
Nothing.

Every fight is the same, spam your abilities over and over again and while waiting for the cooldown to run out use the basic sword combo.
Rinse and repeat for 40 hours.

Don't get me wrong I liked alot of other aspects of the game (story, graphics especially) but the combat loses all luster and engagement by the 20hr mark if I'm generous

Funny how polarizing the game seems to be. The reviews are pretty good yet people making it out to be the worst game ever made. Some really hate the story while others saying its like Game of Thrones.

I think its for the best to just chalk all that up to the fan base being miserable and toxic like always. FF fans are never fucking satisfied with anything.

Best to experience it for yourself to see if its any good.

If it's the same demo as the one we got on PS5 this is the demo that made everyone excited for the game too, and it was all downhill after it.

Journalists absolutely treated this game with kid gloves because it's a mainline entry in a legendary series (even 13 and 15 scored in the 80s) and because they really like yoshi p too. But even among them I saw plenty who were like this is NOT what I want FF to be, many just didn't handle the review at their outlet or they were from outlets who didn't give scores out.

So... Ubisoft finally "fixed" the issues where people lost hours of progress in PoP The Lost Crown because the automatic upload to the cloud failed. What Ubisoft actually did to "fix" this was DISABLING automatic upload to the cloud, so now you have to do it manually after starting or before closing the game. This is extremely annoying since I switch between PC and Steam Deck almost every day.

I'm so tired of this mess. I will not buy another Ubisoft game until they drop that useless Ubisoft Connect launcher and use Steam Cloud like most of the other games on Steam. :mad:

What a dumb fix, there's now way they cant trace the issue and fix it.

They said in a Steam news post that they're continuing to work on the issue and another update for the issue is due next week.

I've continued playing the game further and I've warmed up to it more since my last post. There are moments where you witness some very clever game design that really elevates the experience but they are interspersed with frustrations as well. There's a QOL feature to buy maps to reveal the whole area which stops you from bumbling around blindly but it still feels like a solution to a problem of their creation. There are other specific issues I have as well but I think it's safe to say that this is a case of me trying to play a game that's really not my cup of tea but I can tell it's very well made regardless.

Huh, FFXVI is releasing on my birthday but it's probably going on the pile of games that I'll only play when I get a better PC. I have to focus on getting through the stuff I'm currently playing before Metaphor is out.

If only Valve put this much energy into dealing with all the wallhackers and aimbotters. Instead, more deep-learning-AC that definitely absolutely never has any false positives, and never kicked anyone for rotating too fast with high DPI settings.
