you need a friend to gift you the game
Anno 1800 with all its DLC's is the biggest, most complex and best game in the series by far.
Anno 1404 was the best Anno game prior to it, it's cheaper and less complex if you want something easier.
Completely and utterly avoid the Sci-Fi ones.
It's equally idiotic hilarious and amazing how well it fits himMajima as a pirate wasnt something I was expecting
Per the store page it does, real time cannon battles into boarding battles.Yakuza: Black Flag is a pretty amazing concept, honestly. If this has actual ship battles, then you are looking at the game of the decade, right there.
Day one.
The DLC's not included in the Season Passes are the cosmetic bundles, you can pass on those unless you're really into that.
Base game is on sale for -75% ($15 USD).
Not bad.
Definitive Edition is -50% ($65 USD).
Ouch.
Looks like that includes everything except Season 5 content. Admittedly a ton of DLC outside of S5.
Thoughts?
1404 is the all time greatest Anno. Should be able to get it and it's expansion for very cheap now. (Edit: I forgot there's a history edition now. Get that one)I have not played any of the Anno games, which should I get? I forgot which one but one got good praise.
The base game alone has a ton of content and an extra biome. The season passes add more. The dlcs outside the season passes are not worth it.

There is no Season 5, Season 4 was and will be the last.

Seems like the good kind of cocaine is back at Sega!

Have they not been pretty bad for a while?
SEGA Regional Pricing got EXTREMELY BAD
Every time this game gets mentioned the budget goes up like 50 million, at this point people are just taking the piss.
No way. This has to be a parody. How, how can you look at Concord for even a second and think "yes, this is going to be the biggest IP we ever did, bring me the 400 million check"
Lorns Lure is out. I still need to try this demo.
40€ what are they smoking? It should be half of that
Out now
For 400 million they could have funded like three sequels for Bloodborne or Demon Souls. And with how popular that genre is today..they would have easily brought in over a billion in revenue. What were Sony thinking funding that train wreck?
Just put Bloodborne on STEAM to make up your losses.
Seems like a big deal for a whole slew of possibilities (e.g., Deckard, ARM PCs, mobile store, etc.)
it would be wild if Steam Deck 2 had an NVIDIA APU with an ARM processor.Seems like a big deal for a whole slew of possibilities (e.g., Deckard, ARM PCs, mobile store, etc.)
Yeah, SEGA abandoned regional pricing after Yakuza 7Have they not been pretty bad for a while?
I'd take anyone willing to talk to a bigot like Colin with a huge grain of salt.Completely new IP, a hero shooter, with a premium price tag… having Star Wars like potential? Holy moly that is next level of sniffing your own farts.
Do we include the cost of buying the studio? If sony is shutting the studio down, it needs to be included.Every time this game gets mentioned the budget goes up like 50 million, at this point people are just taking the piss.
What the hell, they've raised the (regional) price of all those games at some point. I guess I'm never playing any Atelier game. The Atelier Ryza games got an anniversary update:

Ah don’t really know anything about him, so you’re probably right. the worst part of all this, I’m sure the game was alright and if they just worked on it to make it work it would be interesting.I'd take anyone willing to talk to a bigot like Colin with a huge grain of salt.
I'll be honest. Yakuza is one of my favorite series but this feels like they're just trying to squeeze one more game out of those Hawaii assets, because coming up with a half assed reason to send Ichiban back there would feel too contrived.
It's absolutely this. They reuse assets a lot but at least they're smart about it.I'll be honest. Yakuza is one of my favorite series but this feels like they're just trying to squeeze one more game out of those Hawaii assets, because coming up with a half assed reason to send Ichiban back there would feel too contrived.
Fortunately it does look like a lot of fun.
Would this be usable on mobile? I can't even imagine that, it'd be so god damn wild.Seems like a big deal for a whole slew of possibilities (e.g., Deckard, ARM PCs, mobile store, etc.)
Waydroid support out of the box would be nice. Being able to just install Android games could be a nice feature.
Better than a remaster of a 4 year old game.I'll be honest. Yakuza is one of my favorite series but this feels like they're just trying to squeeze one more game out of those Hawaii assets, because coming up with a half assed reason to send Ichiban back there would feel too contrived.
Fortunately it does look like a lot of fun.
Sadly the stuttering when you don't have a controller connected, mouse analog stick emulation, and GPU utilization (Atelier Sync Fix fixes this to a degree) issues are still present. The Atelier Ryza games got an anniversary update:

Amazing how Asahi Linux running on a MacBook is gonna have better game compatibility than current day MacOS at this point.
