does not mean much, they already transitioned to the "EA app". So this just means you can not continue using the old version any longer.

Find the text about 32 bit support interesting. Windows actually stopping 32 bit software would be huge. Probably just nonsense.

I'm glad I have basically never touched either of EA's launchers, outside of one specific small game they publiched ages ago that I can't remember the name of.

To me the biggest revelation from playing FF16 is that every modern game should have a photo mode. There are so many stunning locations or spots in FF16 telling players to their face that they have to take photos here. I obliged. Took many of them during my current playthrough and going to take a lot more.

It is a crime that Xenoblade games do not have photo mode. The graphical fidelity may not allow the cleanest shots but the locations in those games are absolutely spectacular. Now hoping that the next game from Monolith Soft will have the feature.
Xenoblade have by far some of the best "open world/ worst in video games. The locations are just so amazing to look at. Playing Xenoblade 1 on the 3DS the game made me feel sick. It took some 20+ hours for me to get used to it. But if you look at the "big picture" it just look stunning, just wow. In other words some of the best landscapes in gaming period. How ever it does "fall apart" at the seems when you look at stuff up close and the it's not that impressive. But at least that's for Xenoblade Chronicles 1. I have not played X, 2, or 3. So maybe it also gets better in that department later on. Because some of the locations don't really feel lived in (at least not by people) but looking at the bio diversity is pretty cool and just how all of it fits together.

To this day, Guar Plains are just something else.

That's the place in the game when the world really "opens up" and you really start to see the scope of it.

decided I'll get a macbook air, now gotta pick the model I guess
keep in mind – there are rumours Apple will release the M4 model sometime this year..

Ive never bought an Apple computer before, so I dont know what that entails, whether that makes now a good time to get a M3 MacBook Air or whether to wait for the new models.

Anyway, here's an article to reference —> Apple is prepping a 'loaded' year of Mac releases

MacBooks are good or at least they can be. I don't own one but my college lets me borrow one ever semester, since I do photography and if your enrolled in a media arts class you can borrow them. I use them for my other school work as well. We have the older 2020 Intel MacBooks Pro and seeing how they have only gotten better over the years, I'd imagine that the battery life has also improved drastically as well. Which was my biggest issue with using the MacBook Pro.

Main takeaway with Macs is that they just work. Are they overpriced? Yes they are a long with everything else Apple makes, but at least they work. Funny enough, stuff like Lightroom Classic "just worked" on the MacBooks that I used but when it comes to my 2018 gaming PC, when ever I tried to import a large quantity of photos, Lightroom Classic would just crash on my PC and wouldn't even finish the importing process. I really need to upgrade my PC but even then it seems like Lightroom has issues on Windows.

Hell yeah, those games rule. Try Dawn of Ys next. I think that's the best of the 16 bit Ys games. Ys III is fun as well.
