Larian should do the superior IP and make a Babylon 5 game.
Now that's a dream game.Larian should do the superior IP and make a Babylon 5 game.
It looks like DLC3's achievements were removed compared to this list: https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/4413-tom-clancys-the-divisionThe Division got Steam achievements.
They seem to have removed some since the list appears to be shorter than the one I can find online. The DLC and online achievements seem to be there and I didn't have time to go through the entire list, so I have no idea what's missing.
Ah, you're right. I checked a few DLC achievements at random and they seemed to be there but that DLC has 5 achievements, which is the amount missing (well, 6 if you include the "platinum").It looks like DLC3's achievements were removed compared to this list: https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/4413-tom-clancys-the-division
They still sell the DLC, but maybe the player base is so dead they took pity?
Bold of you to assume there will be Bioware at this point.Bioware, if Larian announces its own "Mass Effect":

But Sci-fi is just an asthetic setting...In all seriousness, I don't see Larian doing anything sci-fi anytime soon. At most they'll go low-fantasy or modern times.
Besides, how many teams with successful fantasy background managed to successfully transition to sci-fi? I can only think of CDPR and even then it took a botched release and a couple of years of fixes to get there.
THEY SHUT DOWN MONOLITH
Damn, that Wonder Woman game must not have been coming along at all. They haven't released anything since Shadow of War and that was 8 years ago...THEY SHUT DOWN MONOLITH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This industry is SO FUCKED
It's insane that Monolith was funded for almost 10 years since Shadow of War, and they never were allowed to finish anything.God I hate WB so much. How do you shut down the studio that made FEAR? What a waste.
But then shareholders would only get some of the money, rather than a shot at getting all the money! It's insane that Monolith was funded for almost 10 years since Shadow of War, and they never were allowed to finish anything.
100+ devs on payroll for 10 years with nothing to show for it because of the hubris of stockholders.
They could have made a dozen indie style games in that time, or multiple midbudget games.
And even earned money that way!
8BitDo announced an upgrade to their Ultimate wireless controller and they added the most important feature ever...RGB!!!

yeah, this was the state of it when Schreier reported on it a few weeks ago. https://archive.is/uJXW3Damn, that Wonder Woman game must not have been coming along at all. They haven't released anything since Shadow of War and that was 8 years ago...
Monolith Productions, based in Kirkland, Washington, was once a darling of Warner Bros.’ gaming group thanks to the hit 2014 game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. A sequel released in 2017 did well yet failed to surpass the first title. Afterward, the studio began working on a brand new franchise that would experiment with procedural storytelling.
But executives at Warner Bros. weren’t particularly interested in creating new characters and universes from scratch, according to people familiar with the discussions. They suggested to Monolith’s crew that they should attach the project to one of the company’s many established franchises, such as Game of Thrones or something in the DC Comics portfolio. The developers, who had won critical acclaim with Shadow of Mordor’s unique Nemesis narrative system, in which fallen enemies could come back to life with memory of the protagonist’s actions, struggled to graft another, existing franchise onto their nascent ideas.
The game plodded along for more than three years in something of a standoff, where executives at Warner Bros. appeared to know it wasn’t going to happen but did not take decisive action. In 2021, Warner Bros. finally canceled it. The head of Monolith, Kevin Stephens, and most of his directors quit and started a new studio with rival EA. The remaining staff soon pivoted to a game based on the Wonder Woman comic books.
It has now been more than seven years since the studio’s last game. An initial version of Wonder Woman tried reimagining the Nemesis system with the game’s namesake heroine befriending enemies, but that idea has since been tossed out in favor of a more traditional action-adventure game. Now, Wonder Woman’s fate remains in question, according to the people familiar with the business, because of challenges following the changes in Monolith’s leadership and issues surrounding the game’s technology.
The original is a lot harder imo. Good luck playing it on a touch screenI haven't played the original in a long time. Going to review the iOS version soon I think. I enjoyed Blasphemous 2 on Deck.
And they'll be sitting in this patent for the next ten years at least.I loved the nemesis system, such a shame that we wont see it again.
RIP Monolith.
They were a very good dev.
I was actually thinking about finally playing Shadow of War not that long ago. It runs really good on Deck from what I saw.
Too bad those rumors of Microsoft (or whoever) about buying their Warner game devs/division from a few years ago didn't pan out. Now Warner shutting down legacy devsWarner has fucked up so bad these last 10 years its not even worth talking about them as a part of the game industry anymore. Its just gonna be Rocksteady walking on eggshells and you probably get some other shitty gaas/mobile games.
Some Shinobi-like on GBA. It was alright enough but not exactly a classic imo, good but short and limited, like a (decent) mobile knock off of something greater. What game is this?
I don't know if anyone here knew Sinatar but he streamed a full playthrough of Brany Skeledu about 6 years ago. It was a fun watch, I miss seeing him stream. This is a legendary Czech game, RPG dungeon that we played with friends back in 1998, I don't think it was ever published outside the country. It was hard as nails but atmosphere was amazing, super cool to see it being published internationally on Steam.
The soundtrack was something else
There you go.And yet still no Immortals cheevos.
Oh hell yeah.
I bounced off Blasphemous 1 after some time, so I never tried 2.I enjoyed Blasphemous 2 so much, that the first thing I did after finishing it was installing and playing Blasphemous 1 again. Almost everything in that game is perfect for me. I enjoy this kind of games so much more than any AAA title!

Edit: that price seems nuts for a straight port (or emulation given some features cited like rewind and save anywhere) of a 22 year old GBA game if you ask me...
