Watching the Ghost Recon reveal, can't wait to see in person how it wont look like that.

I mean, I agree, I'm sure Epic is lathering at the mouth to try and get whatever MS port or PC-centric title has in the pipe, but it really, really stretches what little credibility their mission statement for EGS is when Microsoft can be viewed as small or indie in any way. How did Epic's deal with MS for Gears end anyway? I always assumed it was less than amicable - unless it was all CliffyB (scapegoat im sure)ohh, i see ... yeah, it's pretty much the same for me ... not that i avoid games with those ... but i just completely miss all of that timed stuff, because i just play games whenever i feel like it (usually years after release too, lol)
yeah, i really hope that's the case ... like i said - i would even buy all those winstore games again if they were on steam, i don't even care (just like i did with Killer Instinct and ReCore)
you know they're definitely trying
At worst, putting MCC on Steam is a calculated move to get into PC gaming's good graces and, more importantly, get PC gamers more invested in Microsoft's gaming ecosystem before Gamepass and xCloud hit the scene, and the next generation of consoles brings a bunch of Microsoft published games with it. Epic, frankly, ain't got shit to offer Microsoft in those regards. No doubt MCC on Steam is Spencer's way to gain the trust of pc gamers. But he said on Twitter that his vision is to release games where people want to play them. So there's hope that we'll see more of Microsofts games on Steam.
Unless Epic ruins this as well by making deals with Microsoft![]()
I think I posted about it a while ago, but I am personally just exhausted with timed events, exploitative "gotta keep up" quests, all that stuff. I had my fill in Destiny 2, Monster Hunter, Division, and a bunch of others. It feels bad. Like you're being manipulated. What happens with me is that playing a game becomes mechanical, a chore, and I stop enjoying it. But not until I spent way too much time trying to keep up like it's a second job, because I have a bit of a completionist problem. Better just to avoid it altogether, so I don't get dragged in again.
It will be corrected to 10% it was the problem of the % showing up incorrectly (so basically all "20%" coupons are applying discount correctly right now)
That's assuming Ubi plans to put those games up on Steam at some point, they still haven't clarified on that have they.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint - Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint

To the surprise of absolutely no one...
Somewhat, the store is broken and many games can't be played anymore or only after an unreasonable amount of fiddling around.
I reinstalled MK Kollection some weeks ago and somehow it asked for my GFWL key again, then it took like 2 minutes to process, but the game worked after that. I didnt try online multiplayer though.
I played Fearless Fantasy, it was not designed to be played with a mouse, I still completed it many years ago.
Speaking of MK Kollection is it me or this version of the game is ridiculously hard?
That sheep game looks lovely. Something about the art style reminds me of both Pix the Cat:
and Hell Yeah!
Also it looks like Breakpoint won't get even physical PC version outside of Collectors Edition. (Which is Ubishop exclusive).

So if Epic gave 10m$ to avoid division2 from being published on Steam, considering Ghost Recon to have a similar budget, are they really giving Ubi more than 20m$ in a year?
I mean how long can they sustain these kind of figures?![]()
Probably will get updated on the following hours. They've been doing this for a while now I think? At least in UK anyway.

EDIT: woah actually, this isn't up on UPlay yet? Surely it's not fully Epic exclusive?
This is why I regret buying Division 2 on uplay so much. I saw it coming and still stupidly bought it. All to be used as a weapon against other storefronts, Steam especially.thanks, epic ...
in all seriousness, though ... ubi have always been this scummy ... for as long as i can remember
the only time they actually stopped was because of vivendi ... then they were suddenly all consumer-friendly, #belyves and all that other bullshit
once vivendi finally fucked off - they went RIGHT back to their usual bullshittery
the only thing epic really changed here is the speed at which ubi are willing to fuck everyone playing on PC over ... nothing else
More good news about UWP: Microsoft confirmed that they will stop pushing developers into using UWP and the Windows Store. Paul Thurrott also writes that UWP is not the future for Windows Apps.
I'm really curious what this will mean for Microsofts upcoming PC games.

I'm thankful that I was pretty burned out on The Division after dumping a ton of hours into the first so I have no real urge to go back to 2.

library_hero what could that be?
UWP may seem like a lame duck now, but it was pretty alarming at the time, from the release of Windows 8 on.But we have evil two thousand times worse.

It's also why I'm sure Epic's store will go the way of the Dodo, if people keep pushing against it.
Holy fuck at the ending of the new Life is Strange!
God damn!!!
if you look at the ghosrecon.com ... there is the PC and PC epic section ... and the PC section has link to ubishop , its just not live yet
Is this episode worth playing?
Cos i'm kinda dreading it after how boring the first two were

It's much akin with the rest of the season tbh; it's enjoyable but definitely not as memorably as the first/BtS.
If you've already got the season I really wouldn't say it's not worth playing, and I think this is my pick for favourite of the 3 eps so far anyway.
But that was a heck of an ending for this episode I must say :O
Slightly vague how it ended, but if it does what I think it has then it's more impactful than any other cliffhanger we've seen I think.
Yep, Division 2 was my breaking point and AC is the big one that will sting for me too. They're not getting my money again.well i said i won't buy any ubi games that aren't on steam ... and i haven't ... not even Wash_Doge or AssCreed will change that (as much as i like both franchises)
No way will Indivisible will sell out to Epic. Mike Z knows this better then anyone that it will backfire on him and he was outspoken on several things (Microsoft patches costed a lot during 360 era, companies not using his fightstick firmware, complaining about Sony Q&A taking too long). I doubt Lab Zero will have their game on Epic.I currently have backed Wasteland 3, System Shock Remake, Indivisible nd Porject Phoenix (EL OH EL).
Let's see whom of those will sell out to epic if any.
I haven't played Ep 2 yet, the long wait kinda killed my enthusiasm. But I totally should!Holy fuck at the ending of the new Life is Strange!
God damn!!!
No idea who Mike Z is, but I can recall another individual in the industry who used to badmouth MS a lot and complain about their practices, and if I told you what they are doing nowadays you wouldn't believe it. His name is similar to Hitman 2's latest missionNo way will Indivisible will sell out to Epic. Not that i care about this game personally

Bloodstained is also published by 505 and so far it doesn't have any indications that it's going to be removed from Steam. Maybe it depends on the developer?it's being published by 505 ...
