It's really annoying how we always have to wait on PC. Atelier Raiza announced for PS4, but we know it will hit PC, we're just forced to wait because...?

Star Ocean Remake announced for PS4/Switch, Square-Enix will probably go with a year exclusivity because...?

It's kinda getting old and annoying. (n)Also this just reminded me we never Star Ocean V either. I bought it day-1 on PS4, but I thought since Resonance of Fate and Star Ocean IV made it to PC we might get lucky one day with SO V... :face-with-cold-sweat: Square-Enix pls, don't you want money?

Atelier will likely get a PC announcement when it gets announced for the west.

There's also Nioh 2, and anything Square Enix is publishing next. Or maybe they haven't mentioned PC because pre-orders aren't up yet.

Well yeah, that's the way it always is but that doesn't make it any less annoying. o_O Especially since it's not like the Atelier games skip JP-Steam. Unlike say Valkyria Chronicles. (Which still triggers me to this day.) >_<

Totally forgot Nioh 2 lol. Specifically because it never appears in any PC-Gaming news.

But I dunno, SE is kinda pick and choosey about what they announce for PC and when. And it never made much sense to me. But for example we already know about Oninaki coming to PC and the PlatinumxSE collab game as well. (It's name escapes me atm though.)

Looks like another Sony owned playstation game is coming to PC.

This isn't No Heroes Allowed VR, but I'll take it! I hope this opens up the other ones to possible PC ports as well. Though somehow I doubt it...

Finished my first Cao Cao campaign in TW:3K yesterdays, it became surprisingly easy to steamroll towards the end.
Annexed a bunch of vasall states one after another, was betrayed by a vasall to the North who jumped ship for Wie, conquered them both and then marched southwards to take over the Kingdom of Wu.

Wu was W H A C K because his cities were all quiet poor.

Tried starting a bunch of campaigns with the Governours, Yellow Turbans and Dong Zou, but it's really hard to begin with them because you're weak and surrounded by enemies EVERYWHERE.

Why is Final Fantasy XV so stuttery? o_O

Even if I tone things down so my GPU is only 60% taxed, it still stutters and frame-pacing is all over the damn place. Even with Special-K fixes. Even if I set FPS limits. V-sync on or off, borderless or fullscreen it's just so... awful in this regard.

I'm not going crazy right? It's not just me?

I miss the Liu Bei campaign in ROTK. It's one of the most challenging and yet interesting campaign because you basically start as a vassal. After various events and so many years, he finally becomes the leader of one of the famous Three Kingdoms. It's always so satisfying playing his campaign.

Stuttering is a very common problem in FFXV. There’s already a ton of guides with different fixed but what fixed it for me was to disable in the in game limiter and limit the FPS with RTSS.

I tried Endless Space 2 during its free weekend. My puny laptop can barely run it but the UI and UX are a work of art. Endless Space was already up there but this one goes one further. I'm not even sure I like the game, I'm just enjoying every one of those screens. If only every 4X game was like this.

It's the pixel-aligned font, the line antialiasing, the elegance and aesthetic of its presentation in every element, from pie charts to every icon and even the background of menus There's so much work and mastery of UI design that went into it that I'm not sure I can think up a single game that impressed me more.

It got announced on a Japanese only Playststion focused magazine . Even if it's coming to PC at the same you will need to wait for the English announcement to know if PC is day and date or not.

Yeah, I tried it on a whim because of this spring cleaning thing and it was too overwhelming for a Sunday afternoon. It looks really polished and well done, it hurts me that I can't give it a decent run because I already slotted Ys VIII for the next month. I'll definitely consider buying it in the next Steam Seal.

Its iconography is excellent I can't help thinking that Stellaris could learn a thing or two from this game.

EDIT: It's $26 on Hamble for the complete edition so it's tempting enough. Decisions, decisions.

do it ... who cares? :p if you want to do it - do it ... simple as that
Mm sure no one really cares, it's just for me.:D But I've instantly thought it was cheating all this time but just thought about, it would probably increase my avg on steam a bit.:D I've been stuck on 32-33% for so loooooong now haha, I was at 33% for maybe a week, started a game and it went down and it hasn't come back up. I think it's because several games that I had 100% on added new DLC and achievements.

It's up to you really. I don't think anyone really cares what other people do with their achievements as long as it's not to scam a contest or something.
Mm I'm also looking at games I've just started and gotten one achivement and remove it. I kind of starting to want my avg to reflect what I've actually played, even if I've not finished a game but as long as I've played it.

I use SAM occasionally when an achievement is broken and I only have 1 left. I mean no one cares about steam achievements except the player so its really up to you.

It has been a long time since I played a game with random encounters. FFX destroyed my ass with those last night, seriously. One after the other and even them being fairly easy is still tiring, especially when the game decides to go in slow motion depending on the angle that the camera starts the battle. Still, until now it's a decent game, but ain't getting closer to another game with random encounters for a long time after this.

Also great to see AMD keep the momentum going with their CPUs. Might grab a 3700X down the line.

Monooboe A few things you need to know about SAM.
There are achievement trackers sites that that's one's achievement unlocking. If you use SAM to unlock several achievements in one go, these achievement trackers will see this unusual unlocking times and will flag you as an achievement cheater.
If you do care about these, then you shouldn't unlock all remaining achievements for a game.

Another thing that I have noticed is that when you lock unlocked achievements, it might screw your AGC on Steam. The number will be stucked forever and never changes. Also your AGC won't increase if you lock all achievements for a game, since it will still be counted towards the AVG number.

Thankfully the Remastered version has options to speed up the game (F1) and change the encounter rate (F3). There are some other effects on other F5 keys and some Cheats in the Escape menu iirc.
Yeah, I don't inherently dislike random encounters, but sometimes they sure can be annoying.

Hmh what is the morality of using SAM to unlock achievements in a GOTY version of a game you already have played?
Just go for it. Your account might get flagged if you sign up for some Steam achievement tracker sites, if that's your thing, so keep that in mind.

Is Bethesda having a press conference this year? Didnt they say we wont see either Starfield or the new Elder Scrolls?
I don't know if they're having a conference, but they still have Doom, Wolfenstein, whatever Arkane is working on, and presumably some smaller projects than TES and Starfield Fallout 76 updates.

True...but I want Starfield :( But anything by Arkane is a good consolation.

Anything I should keep in mind/install before starting FF13?
If you're willing to read the codex all the time (there's a lot of stuff that isn't explained in-game, which is why I believe many people consider the story and names confusing), don't mind the extreme linearity of 80% of the game, and don't care about not being able to change your party for the first 15 hours or so, I'd say you may enjoy it. I loved it, but then again I'm not a JRPG fan. The battle system, once you unlock it completely, is awesome. Making your own paradigms before battles, and juggling them on the fly, is really fun.

SAB role makes battles much easier so prioritize maxing out that role for their respective characters.
Yeah, this too. It's good to keep a few debuffs on your enemies at all times, especially during long/boss battles.

Completely forgot about those. I should look up how the extra functions are assigned on my controller and keep then in mind. That would've made things easier.

Oooh, that's a really cool setting.

Kinda feels bad that you could get the game + season pass for much less than what I paid for only the base game at launch though... Should've expected as much. Gonna wait for all content to drop until I pick it up.

They're having something that sunday night like they have the past few years. I don't know if it's an actual conference or just a direct-style thing but they're definitely doing something.

Damn that's pretty soon. I need to get moving on the other levels and season 1 stuff :sweaty-blob:

I wonder what Paradox's new Grand Strategy game will be. World of Darkness?

I didn't expect Total War: Three Kingdoms to get such a positive reception, and it looks fantastic too.

I hate Paradox's DLC strategy but man if I wouldn't be down for a proper rendition of the conflicts and crazy gambits of the WoD universe across the ages.

Of course, the thought that follows is "please don't fuck it up".

Got it
Yeah. Uninstall immediately and spend your time playing good games ;)

Seriously, 90% of the battles can be won by mashing the X-button. It's boring as hell imo.

I like reading lore in games generally. I know about the linearity but tbh I don't mind some every now and then.

I've heard the combat system is pretty fun once it opens up, so kinda excited to try that.

I'll start it after I finish the book I'm reading.
