But Meta told me that NISA gave up on PC :thinking-blob:
People need to realize that the reason why NISA doesnt bring a lot of NIS titles to PC is because they bomb in Japan and they probably see better value bringing 3rd party titles like Alliance Alive and Disaster Report instead.

Ys VIII seems like it sold pretty well on pc tho so nisa when you gon gimme cold steel 3 pc huh?

Keep your expectations in check, ladies. It's NISA. The only way it's going to be competent at least performance-wise is when PH3 is doing the porting.

Nisa’s last PC port that ran on UE4 (which was also their last PC port in general) Caligula Effect, has fantastic optimization so like. I’m not worried here.

That Disaster Report announcement just made my day.

Also, don't missunderstand, that NISA brings this game doesn't change that their stance on PC changed drastically since last year. I still remember when we were getting literally everything they were releasing day and date with console. But, clearly, that didn't work for them, and now Switch is their new "PC".

Not completely accurate.
Being a GamerGate asshole will get you banned. (That's the one ban we have so far iirc).

Edit: Or to be more precises, the community decides what is ban-worthy. And so far, the community has decided that the above is ban-worthy.
Well, I meant that there are no games banned here (as much as lashman wants to erase anime, it wont happen :minos_dealwith:)

By all accounts, SK Reflections is terrible, I dont expect much talk about it here, explicitly banning it only brings more audience to it than it deserves.

AY YO WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

WHY THE BLOODY FUCKING HELL IS FORZA HORIZON 4 CALLING ME BY MY REAL NAME

JESUS I NEARLY GOT A HEART INFACT
I assume your real name is in your Microsoft account details and the game has access to all that stuff. It really creeped me out when the game called me by my name.

So playing through FF7 on the Switch I've taken 250-300 screenshots thus far. Except it wouldn't let me capture anything during one of the most famous story beats.

That's neat?

I'm a broke bitch, but I'll have some cash tomorrow, Where's the cheapest place to grab a Bloodstained key? I know GMG has them around 31-32 dollars atm.

And all you had to was ask Valve to add it. But somehow on one bothered until now.
i don't know about that ... apparently some devs have been asking for a while ... dunno if that's true, though

Bought it and played about an hour. Average game, the base title has just a bunch of meh songs with barely any rhythm and you have to play them many times even if you hit all the notes in order to unlock more tracks. A gazillion songs are locked behind the expensive DLC, as expected, and stages, while nice looking, are just 2 or 3, repeated over and over.

Won't ask for a refund since it's very cheap.
I changed my mind about this. It looks like it bugged out at first and unlocking new songs was tediously slow, gave it another try now and it's way faster, nicer songs too.

To be fair, you have to be amazingly bad at porting games to really mess up a UE4 game on PC.
If you have a custom engine that's not actually made for PC (like with Cold Steel 3) then I really don't see NISA giving the port to anyone competent. (see the whole Ys VIII mess)

Why would you want to erase anime when it gives you dudes fighting with magical electric guitars.

Doesnt Cold Steel 1-3 all run on PhyreEngine though? I know Ys VIII and Cold Steel 3 arent running on the same engine at least.

Is there any way to check the points one has for that Steam promotion?

Has anyone found out if the points indeed count since the last sale, or if they will be reset when the new sale starts?

thanks

I don't know what Million Arthur is and I'm not really a fighting game person and I probably will never buy it, but it's anime so I guess on the wishlist it goes.
It's a spin off from the Million Arthur franchise (I think it's a mobile card game) that takes a bunch of random elements and slaps them all together. There was a small bit of people playing the JP import, the game seems fine, but it's one of those dime a dozen anime FGs that pop up with not too much buzz or remarkable stuff going on. Neatest thing is that it has a cool assist and elemental synergy system going on, and also Iori is in it.
