I envy you. My finances weren't in a good place back when the Blu-ray LE set was released so I missed out on importing it.
An underrated classic sadly overshadowed by Eva. I love it more than E7 though.
I still need to watch Ideon. I maybe saw only the first 5 episodes.

Also, they apparently just did not translate some japaese texts at all.
So yea, it does have a bunch of issues unfortunately.

I've just been on a Type-Moon bend. After Fate/Apocrypha and Last Encore I decided to bust out my Fate/Zero and UBW blu-rays.
Then I decided to update my Kara No Kyoukai collection since it seems I was missing two newer movies.

Today's Kimetsu no Yaiba episode was great. This anime is stupidly awesome. I couldn't help look at that animation of Zenitsu frame-by-frame. I've adored the style of this anime since the beginning and I'm starting to dread it finally coming to an end.
This makes me smile stupidly, thanks for putting it in a gif. I can't wait for the soundtrack to be released too.It's so good.

New season is about to kick off soon. Have my eye on two upcoming anime productions. There's Vinland Saga which I'm already familiar with as I'm going through the manga currently (and it's f'ing awesome), and then there's Fire Force which is attractive simply because of the eye candy. I prefer the stuff that leans more toward adult-ish, so I'll admit Fire Force looks like something I would typically dislike just based on the concept/look, but the visuals in the trailer look so nice. I'll at least give it a shot.
The only must watch for me next season is Symphogear Season 5.
The Fire Force trailer looks pretty nice, though I found the manga to be very meh in the beginning, wonder how the anime will come across.
Then there's DanMachi Season 2, which I'll likely also watch.

I'm slightly concerned about Vinland Saga. Nothing can ever live up to the art of the manga but it looks a little too generic for my taste. I hope I'm wrong.
Tonight I finish Fate/Zero for the 3rd time lol. I'm always amazed at how emotional it gets me even when I'm so familiar with the animation and novels.

Note that season 1 is fairly different in tone and QUALITY (dark and edgy) whereas the following seasons still have drama but embrace the ridiculousness more and look better.

It deals with A LOT of adult themes, but I loved it. I watched it last year for the first time, and it was the only 10/10 I awarded for Anime that year lol.
Not as good as Bebop or Champloo, but still lots of Shinichiro Watanabe goodness to be had.
Read the first 2 volumes of Demon Slayer and liked it despite its genericish aspects.
Gonna watch the anime later now that JoJo is...well its finale is delayed til end of July so for now I'll watch that every friday :V

Fwiw, I'll keep saying that I found the beginning of Demon Slayer just alright. But it only gets better.
In fact, the anime is about the enter the arc that made me a believer. So hyped for that.
Caught up with JoJo as well.
I'm kinda underwhelmed with the finale so far though.
All the arrow and Requiem stuff has really overshadowed Diavolo, to the point where he really doesn't feel like a final boss. I guess there will be another twist though, since we still have 2 episodes.
