I'm done with Valkyria Chronicles 4, loved the game.
I enjoyed your screenshots, seemed like you were having fun. Did you like it more than VC1?

I have to get back to it and play the DLC at some point.
Since that is for China (simplified Chinese) would that affect the company that is based in Taiwan? I mean sure they can't sell it in China...but what about here or elsewhere?
I guess Red Candle would have to take the publishing rights for the game from them, and then either find a new publisher or do it themselves.
I dont know anything about such deals but something tells me it would be costly and time consuming, and that's not even counting that the publisher might feel wronged by RC.
I had bought Devotion day1 due to how much i liked Detention and wrote a praising post right after finishing it as well.

That fucking sucks. China is a very risky market for foreign/doemestic game developers/publishers as you have to always align with Chinese social core values. If there is even a single tasteful Winnie the Pooh/Xi joke inside your game files, expect a swift yet severe ban from the Chinese gaming industry.
Stuff like this is going make me reconsider publishing my game to mainland China. I hope that Red Candles are alright.
We found our cat, she is dead, she was probably struck by a car, most likely instant death, her head, yeah. It was a storm, raining and windy yesterday.
Im utterly devastated, been crying for 1 hour. She was 13 years. Beautiful, sweet, lovely cat. Crying as Im typing this.
Will miss her jumping on to my lap, will miss her standing by the window wanting to get in.
She lived like a queen. I loved her so much.

I probably have you in part to thank them since I bought it when I saw they were having disputes with their publisher due to how positive the impressions I saw of it were.

I was hoping you would find her safe and sound.
It's always very hard to lose a pet.
One tries to give them the best life we can, but it doesn't make it any easier when they pass away.

I liked it more than VC1, it's an improvement in terms of mechanics and gameplay, and the new class spices it up a bit, the system is still that of VC1 though so it's all still familiar if you played the previous game.
There's a detailed thread on reddit which lists the changes/improvements
What i really appreciated is being able to skip briefings before a mission and in-mission skits though.
in terms of story it runs parallel to the events of VC1, but it focuses on the war between empire and federation

VN fans, I've bought MUV-LUV trilogy but I've noticed that the resolution is fixed? On fullscreen it looks blurry. Did you guys play it windowed?

Yep. Sad but true. Since VN's use CG or Drawn Art they can't just be arbitrarily rendered at different resolutions. Drawings don't work like that.

For some reason I just can't get Steam link to work on my Android Tablet. I always just get a black screen whenever a game starts.
That said, if I can ever get it to work, how are the controls for VN's with just a touchscreen?
