Interesting. Maybe I'll find a flickr account and go from there smh.

I checked the actual files on my PC--that's definitely not evident in them.

I assume Imgur compresses a ton?
i don't really know ... i usually upload pngs and get png links with actual pngs in them :p so there must be a way to use png on imgur

These are just crappy Steam screenshots but I love the way this game looks and how much devs were committed to this "3rd person actually filming with a crappy camera behind them" look.
I'm one of the rare guys that played, and really enjoyed both Kane & Lynch games.

The first one has some great levels and set pieces. It may not have been a looker, but it managed to cram into its stages so many enemies at the same time, like on that bank stage, or the one at a nightclub, I personally found it very enjoyable and immersive. The later stages aren't as good, but still, I enjoyed the game.
The second game has a strange, unique style that reminded me of a cross between a HK action film, and a documentary. Quite unlike any other game around. A bit on the short side, but once again, very enjoyable.

Me too. 1 was the best Michael Mann love letter we ever got in gaming despite two halves of it feeling completely disjointed and having a lot of other problems. It's my favorite bad game. On the other hand I legitimately love 2 and think it's a great ride. It may not be very creative gameplay or story-wise but it just keeps ramping up the insanity these 2 idiots get themselves into. Hitman Absolution retains some of the look from K&L2 which I really liked as well but it's obviously it's own thing.

Thanks for kind word! It was kind of hard to prep the game in order to take decent screenshots of it. The game is riddled with aliasing and weird haloing. However, it has this weird timeless quality to it that I can't explain.
yeah, still looks great ... i wish Atlus would stop being Atlus and just release all their shit on PC

Devil May Cry 4 SE, original is still a good looking game too, especially if you consider it being 10 years old and was also 60fps on consoles. I wish they fixed some of the textures in the remaster, they're really low res.

I see your DQ XI shots, and raised you another!

Game: Dragon Quest XI
Resolution: 2560x1440
Settings: Maximum settings, 150% internal resolution scale.
Other: (It seems like the screenshots I capture didn't include the ReShade effects rendering, it's missing MXAO among other things -- will look into this later)

PS. Check out Veronica's face in the 2nd picture.

I couldn't resist the Epic Game store for this one. They got me at at time of weakness\boredom, and I loved it (the game, not the store).
boo this man, BOO!!!

the game looks amazing, though! :) awesome shots as always! :D

(oh, and by the way - you don't need to quote to make images smaller in here :p just click the image after inserting it and you'll see the resize handles)

Yeah... it's unfortunate. This is for sure the only game I'll be getting there since there's going to be more than enough games to play early next year. I'm already swamped catching up on some other 2018 titles I missed.

Now that's a nifty feature. I like it.
