I really wish games on steam separated multiplayer and single player achievements. I played crackdown 3 on game pass and there are separate achievement totals for multiplayer and single player! so I was able to get all the achievements playing single player and didn't have to play multiplayer at all. Just finished DOOM last night and I want to go back and finish off collecting stuff but there are like 30 multiplayer only achievements and if I cant get 100% why even finish off the rest of the single player achievements :(

I know cheevos dont matter but I like to 100% a game when I enjoy the game.

After they address that they need to make single and multi separate installations, it's so annoying when you want to install a game that is 30+ gigs to just play single or multi. Hard disk space is getting out of hand...

Seems good enough? 85 on Opencritic isn't what I'd call bad. Were you expect something closer to 100?

Jesus Christ, 15 pages already? You guys are crazy, I barely have time to follow the thread lately, still looking for a new job and doing other time-consuming stuff. Also keep trying to play games in the meantime, even managed to finally finish the Rage 2! Now I just need to finally move on from AC Odyssey and focus on the new stuff and backlog, but I still have like 4 regions to clear :dizzy-face:

Oh that's cool. Usually you don't see sports cars with that rear cargo rack. You could haul some serious lumber home from the hardware store with that thing. Looks like you could fit a few child safety seats in there as well.

Is that a towing hitch I see?

Not bad at all. Sadly it seems the ridiculous €69.99 price point is here to stay. If MS gets away with this, watch other publishers raise their price as well. So again, f*ck you Microsoft! 😠

Woo boy, I passed the last few hours playing Endless Legend.
It has the same Civ-effect all right. Unfortunate it was also the most boring game I have played in months :blobweary:

I have, but they just advise me to not eat too much at night, which actually works but I wanted pizza dammit.

Played a ton of Garden Warfare 1, never got into 2, don't know why, but very interested in new one. If they keep the mtx in check. However unlikely that is.

Too many games, also when will SE rerelease their DQ games again? Actually we didn't even get 1-3 did we like they did in Japan on the PS4 and 3DS.

A DQ3 remake in the next 4 years and assuming that it releases on PS4 and N/S at the same time, then there likely will also be a PC version and it will not be missing as much content compared to DQXI S.

DQ games take me a while to beat so I'm working my way through DQ IV on my 3DS right now.

As of now their are only 3 DQ games on Steam, their are two mainline DQ games on Windows PCs.

I don't know how good the mobile versions of the DQ games are but seeing how the FF games on Steam (well some of them) and Chrono Trigger are based of the mobile version (but with a little bit of work done on them). FF likely got that treatment since it would sell decently? CT got that treatment to see if people would be interested, which would explain why SE tried to fix it since they potentially might port that to other systems as well/it's part of that online back catalogue that they mentioned about doing where you will be able to play all of their games in one place.

By the way I think DQ and SMT are both cool series that people should try. DQ being a very simple intro to JRPGs in a way and SMT being one of the more "hardcore" JRPG series out there. They can be more challenging and unforgiving then some other JRPGs. The older SMT stuff has not held up that well but they still have a cool setting though

I found it extremely boring as well. Too bad, since I really enjoyed Endless Space (same devs).
 
Wait a second. Did the scroll bars change for anyone else in Steam client? Only seeing it when on a game page, not main page.

'Recent Updates' on store pages also got updated.

Yea 86 is a bit low but its kind of in line with what Xbox games have been getting for years now. Nothing outside of Forza Horizon has cracked 90 for them this gen irrc. Xbox isn't the media darling that Sony and Nintendo are anymore.

Also its an Unreal Engine game. I can't even remember the last time a UE game blew anyone away on Metacritic. Its basically fast food for the gaming industry at this point. You can feel that jank and those clunky controls just from watching the trailers.

I played and finished GRIS this week, absolutely beautiful game of course. I think it could have tied the actual gameplay to the "narrative" more, as it was the platforming felt very isolated from the experience the game was conveying, but that is a minor complaint for a lovely game, well worth the almost full price I got it for.

Now I started up Lucah which is a pretty severe style shift, and tonal shift, and also wtf :p it is pretty in its own way though.

Thanks for sharing your impressions. Gris is one game I mean to play someday, but I keep forgetting about it (as is the case with countless others).
