The Surface Pro 3 came out in 2014 I think. around 2016 or so I was looking to get myself a laptop and decided to get a two in one. I was thinking of getting a Sony Vaio Duo 13 since it looked cool. I ended up getting a Surface Pro 3 used on ebay for around $800 USD or so.

One of the big issues that I would have with it is that it would over heat a lot and get very loud.

I don't think I used the thing in over a year and because I decided that I would like to try to use it as a drawing tablet I decided to boot it up again and it was still loud and then I installed some new firmware updates and it seem to actually be quite now and not burning.

Also Amazon seems to be one of the few places that sells AAAA batteries.

I might start using it more now and I might even try remote play on it or something

Ehi, AI War 2 got released!

Lot of trouble during the development and, as the dev himself says, this game wouldn't exist without its community.
This blog post is a good read, give it a look.

They are also sending 25% off coupon on top of the launch discount, so the price goes to 7.55€.

hmm, there should be attacks. If you find more ghost towns, I would restart, your game seems broken somehow.
Will be on the lookout! Thanks!

I'm glad you're enjoying it. :cat-heart-blob:
Yeah, it's really special. A bit slow, and you really got to set up your own goals, but the depth seems fantastic. And the world is humongous!

Ehi, AI War 2 got released!
I've long since decided that Arcen games are not for me. They always sound really interesting, but they never really click with me.
So far, I've tried AI War (too complicated, couldn't get into it), A Valley Without Wind (weird mix of platforming and crafting, couldn't get into it) and Bionic Dues (really difficult, weird humor, tried it a bit but didn't fall for it).

Haha in DIsco, Kim complained about my sense of style, said I looked like a business man... I get the same shit in real life. What's up with people, real and fictional that judges a book by it's cover!

Last Hamble Monthly late unlock reveal this Friday. After that it's Hamble Choice, where you can select games.

There’s been no confirmation of it starting this week. They said it might not release until 2020 if it needs to be delayed

I have the same experience with Arcen Games. AI War was too... I don't know, too much ? Didn't get it, got bored by the arid UI (and I'm a veteran Dwarf Fortress or DDA Cataclysm player :p ), although I'm sure there's an interesting game underneath. Nevers tried A Valley Without Wind but I have a few hours on Bionic Dues, liked it but it is VERY hard. Sometimes I felt like I've got it, passed a few levels, but never got motivated enough to keep playing.

AI War 2 looks like a bit easier to jump aboard, I have a coupon too so I could have bought it... If I didn't already have so many games to play o_O

But if I had a choice to make between this and BL3, Destiny 2, Overwatch, COD, Fallout 76 or any EA game from last 10 years, I'll definitely go for AI War 2 :cool:

Hey everyone, it's an early Halloween (?) or Christmas (?) miracle: I finally got my damned Shenmue 3 refund! :blobcheer::blobcheer::blobcheer:

I've been asking for one since early June (when the EGS exclusivity was announced), formally requested one on the first day the refund platform was available (September 20th), and only today did I get my money back.

Ys Net can screw themselves. What an obnoxious campaign from an obnoxious developer.
Just a few random bullet-points:
-they switched platforms close to launch, despite having trailers and promotional materials days before the announcement still listing Steam (when they already had signed an agreement with Epic);
-people who backed the game for a PC physical copy will now get an "empty" disc with no game, just the EGS launcher; there will be no actual game files there, despite what was mentioned in the campaign;
-backers of any amounts will not get the pre-order bonuses; yeah, unless they actually pre-order a copy of the game, they will miss out on plenty of items and content, because the developers have the nerve of saying backers aren't entitled to it;
-naturally, there will be a Season Pass (just because), and even if you paid hundreds or thousands of $ on Kickstarter, you're not getting the Season Pass either.

These people deserve nothing good.

My favorite Metacouncil substory finally comes to a close with a happy ending.

Starting the week off right I see:steam_pigblanket:

I mean, Funktion just got his refund. Anything can happen this week now.
You can say that again. :LOL:

I hope you do get your money back soon, AHA-Lambda . :highfiveblob:
I was kind of hoping we would get them at the same time, since we are the ones that keep "mumbling" on Meta about a lack of refund, but I do hope you don't finish the week without a refund.

Crazy they announce it 10 days b4 the PS4 release. lol Probably the best Sony could do with their agreement/moneyhat.

I don't think I'll be able to wait 6 months. Being spoiled on stuff too with Kojima games being heavily twist based and the risk of it being EGS moneyhat means I am still buying it on PS4. I literally bought a PS4 last year for this so I might as well as make it my last purchase for the console. All the other Sony stuff next year I will just buy on PS5 years down the line.

If Kojima Productions is self publishing on PC it will be 100% released on Steam, if Sony is the publisher the EGS exclusivity is almost certain.

Well shit...
