Epic might be holding their own show like they did with the spring event where they revealed Kingdom Hearts.
they might want to get a date out there or they'll get lost in the shuffle of the ones already announced/happening

Not buying anything, but these prices are pretty cool to see.

Backbone's price is half its Steam's price.

What's interesting is the Humble price is $20 instead of $25, then there's a 10% discount, and the 20% humble discount that brings it to $14. Not bad, but probably a bit of a mistake.

Genshin is up on EGS, but it doesn't have any place to purchase items. Does anyone know if you can use Epic's payment processor to purchase items or is it all done through [UWSL]miHoYo [/UWSL]like the standalone client?

Also BF2042 is up on EGS so I guess EA will start publishing all their games there too. I remember there being speculation that the Star Wars games were a Disney mandate.

I wouldn't confirm such thing YET, so far only Knockout and BF2042 released there while some others such as It Takes Two completely avoided the platform.

Let's wait and see.

Yes, via miHoYo process.

IIRC Epic was willing to go for 200M (was it from the docs ?), I have no idea if that was per game or a a total deal.

If it's per game it's a real bad deal (for epic).

But still how much penetration do they have in the Chinese and Indian market ? (I'm mentioning those 2 countries, not only for how big they're but because that's part of the endgame of expanding the market based on Sony's presentation).

It was $200 million minimum guarantee for 4-6 games.

I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think Chinese users make up about 20% of the total EGS userbase (basically the same as Steam). I'm too lazy to find and pull up that document though so don't take my word on it.

At this point I think it's pretty clear which route Sony chose when it comes to PC Gaming basically based in where do they sell more and were do they have more access to certain areas (let's not forget China is the biggest area for Steam too, so...)

EDIT: Also, bold predictions, most of them are boring as hell :/

That pic from pcgamer is going to give our friend geo a heart attack.
Haha don't worry m8! :) While I'm still feeling disappointed when another of my favorite devs or publishers supports Epic's money hatting, I'm done caring about it. If Sony teams up with Epic, I will just ignore their games or pirate them if there's really nothing else for me to play. The latter is most unlikely, especially if the rumors of Microsoft switching to a decent win32 client for Game Pass are true.

Is this the last week of the sale?
It is.

After Days Gone we know the most likely outcome, so I wouldn't worry too much, to be honest.
