Well, because I'm a stable genius, I figured let's do the standard yolo 10-pull on Makiatto's weapon banner as well. I didn't get her sniper rifle but I did lose the 50-50 and get a dupe of Sabrina's shotgun. That's still a win! My great luck continues.

I would recommend reading the lore page on the wiki to get an idea of what the world and setting is all about - Lore - IOP WikiI must admit, playing GFL2 without even a rudimentary knowledge of the lore in GFL1 can feel like starting Trails with CS3 at times.

I'm not too sure about the Helena situation (trying to stay mostly spoiler free w/ regards to big plot points), but I'm told the story picks up and changes gears significantly around the time Klukai (416) drops. That should be around the 6 month mark? Half-Anni.
This is a bit disappointing to hear. We know they are able to tell good stories even within the span of a chapter (like they did with the first part of last month's event and even chapter 7 of the main story). I like when they explore the world and the desperate circumstances of living in it. That underground area in chapter 7 with the traders having a symbiotic deal with the Varjagers and then the settlement they lived in were interesting to explore, but then they never actually concluded Colphne's story in it. I'm not sure if they will in chapter 8.
In case you are not informed, limited dolls come back after 3-4 months in CN server, so there are chances to pull them in the future.Hopefully I can scrounge enough Collapse Pieces to cover 100 rolls. I still haven't financially recovered from the hits I took in order to collect Makiatto, Tololo and both their signature weapons lol

A bit late to reply to the post but honestly, this is very disappointing. The CN version of the game is supposed to be a whole year ahead of our version and you're telling me that we're already caught up with the main story chapters and everything from now on is delivered through events only? How can it possibly be okay for the game to only have this much story after a whole year?
So then I started looking into it a bit and man things are not going smoothly for this game. First is the voice acting issue. I don't know if they're at all affected by the English VA strike going on since the game doesn't have English but turns out they've had to rewrite parts of the story because they were poorly received. And that's why they can't get even the other VA done properly. This is also why the event felt disjointed because they cut down the focus on Daiyan.
Mica likes releasing main story chapter as event. Basically, Klukai's event is chapter 9 and 10, whereas the 1st anniversary event (Spingfield and Peri) acts as chapter 10.5. They will be released as story event, but the stage numbering indicates that they are main campaign chapters. Main story is still progressing, but they will not be accessed through the usual campaign tab, but rather, past event tab.
No, I agree with you. The main story progression in global is fast. I think CN was having 1 patch / 4 weeks but they later changed it to 1 patch /3 weeks. Global is following the new pattern so we are definitely moving faster.

If you're referring to Info Cores (and not Transcription Conductor Rank IV -- which is also purple), definitely save those because they're really hard to come by and not easily farmable. I think you can only get these regularly from the Boss Fight shop, and only one per week.
You need 18 to max out one character. As you can see, I don't even have enough for 2 characters. If I leveled Vepley and Qiongjiu there would be no point in pulling characters from the limited banner for the next few months because I wouldn't be able to max them out anyway. Bizarre limitation.
In case you decide to go forward with maxing another character before QJ, SRs like Lotta require only 8 to fully unlock their Helix, so you can max Lotta and still have enough for QJ
