I can't wait for this historical moment for the PC Gaming community, WE ARE GOING TO FINISH THE FIGHT!

I still remember playing Halo 2 on Vista with a few school friends, after that, controller was the only way to enjoy this saga but now, glorious M+KB is the way to go!

Great job, Queen, really hope to see you all at the battlefield :triggerblob: :triggerblob: :triggerblob:

Halo 2 is definitely the game I want to play most, but I want to try out each release as they drop.

If anyone wants to party up online when the game comes out, let me know.

I only had a pirated copy of Halo: Combat Evolved but I did play it a lot. I particularly remember the pistol being very powerful.

Did they rebalance the campaigns for kb+m? I might jump in for the singleplayer alone, but not if it's too easy.

I still haven't played Halo 4/5, but these games were a big part of my teens and early 20s and the first real taste of online gaming. I wonder how well the update will look compared to the X1 release.

£30 is such a good price for this. I'm surprised its not a lot higher.

Never really played Halo much so looking forward to going through them all.

So I have not played a Halo game since Halo 2. I didn't even know what the Master Chief Collection included.

So thanks.

Um, even though Halo Reach is listed first, what order are they?

Halo
Halo 2
Halo 3
Halo 4

ODST? Reach?

Someone help me put them in chronological order, thanks!

I'm probably looking forward to ODST the most, the relaxing city stuff always appealed to me a lot but I never played it.

I hope the release schedule will be quicker after reach, I'm most interested in Halo 1 (have it on xbox but only finished the modded PC port), Halo 3 (finished it once on 360 but the console is dead), and ODST (never played it), I tried 2 on PC but couldn't get into it, I hated the level designs from what I've played but maybe I just didn't get to the good part.

Hi! We’re still working to improve this down the road, but for now you will have an option when you launch to bypass anticheat. This will allow you to play around with campaign and customs but not allow you to play any match made games. I highly suggest making a copy/backup of anything you modify so you’ll be able to switch back and forth easily.
From a dev at reddit this gonna be great

There’s not gonna be stuff like sound test, artwork and development notes in this like in MM Legacy Collection right? Would’ve been pretty nice. Regardless, I’m stoked! Ready to punt a bunch of grunts into the hereafter.

Looking forward to Halo 2 which is the only one I've never played (never got the PC version and never had an original Xbox nor a One and it was never released on the 360 so had no way to play it).
Might replay the other ones too while at it...

Played like 10 minutes, I can hardly hear the guns/combat, the sound mix is terrible.

Debating between getting it on steam versus just playing via Gamepass.

Does the full MC collection gets discounted if you just buy Reach on Steam ? I would prefer to buy them as they come out instead of paying the full 40 straight, unless there's no discount.

40€ for the full package on steam is a too good of an offer to not take it. But as long as modding support isn't there, nothing wrong with taking the game pass version to check it out, if you are already subscribed anyway.

Yeah the price isn't the issue, it's more like paying full price and basically pre ordering the games except Reach.

I still have the gamepass sub, but eh, might just get it on Steam anyway.

Downloaded on GPX. Halo's not really my thing, but I'm curious to see if I'll enjoy it more with a mouse/kb setup than with a gamepad. I've always disliked the controller setup for the Halo games.

The sound is still as bad as it was in the preview, which is a shame.

Last time I played this was back in 2010 so I can't tell if always was like this, but everything is so muted.

Yeah, sound mixing is terrible, but at least the music is easy enough to listen to, if you play with audio settings a bit, and that feels like the most important element anyway. The effects and dialogue feel very interchangeable,

yea they mentioned audio issues in their flight testing and posts.

genuinely believe this was pushed for release by ms knowing all these related fixes will come in time but wanted to bump them onto next game. i mean they clearly wanted this out before the next halo game so they gotta work hard.

Sound aside. Vehicle steering with a mouse? That's funny, but doesn't work.
But performance is good. 5120x2880 @ 120 fps, no problem.

Why not? Halo 1 was perfect with mouse (you just point camera with mouse and vehicle automatically turns this way). Or they changed it?
