Weird article, with way too much speculation.
A few of the comments stuck with me though, like how when next-gen hits minimum requirements might go up again, and how in general we should see better assets. (Because consoles have a way of setting the bottom line or whatever.)
Another comment mentioned that if GPU prices continue to be outrageously high, it will be hard to turn down consoles that offer so much for so little in price. (Comparatively.) And while I don't ever see myself going back to the overly-restrictive console lifestyle (i like mods, cheats, and ReShade too much

), I do see the mans point. High-End GPU prices are whack.

(And I say that as a 1080ti owner.)
