I hope that you are all ready to read one of the best horror visual novels, ever, now that
Saya no Uta coming to Steam.
Among all the VNs that I have read, it is perhaps the one that best combines sound, graphics, and writing and uses it to create an utterly alien, utterly unsettling atmosphere, all crowed by an excellent soundtrack that captures the same sense of alienation.
Instead of the anime tropes you normally find in visual novels, Saya instead delivers strong influences from the works of HP Lovecraft, and instead of endless padding you'll find a tightly written story with
3 ends that can be finished in a total of about 6 hours depending on your reading speed.
TL;DR: Read Saya no Uta!
No price and preorder make me dread its some full price bullshit like many other visual novels in steam
Valve no longer supports pre-orders for smaller games, except in special cases, since it spreads out purchases and reduces visibility on launch day:

My guess is that the base-price will around the same price as the original game (
€22.5), probably with a 10-20% launch discount like their other titles. It is even possible that they'll match the current 35% discount for (OG) Saya no Uta, but that seems less likely.
