Last night I discovered you can move and resize logos when browsing a game in your Steam library, by right clicking the cover on top and selecting "Move logo" or something like that. Is this new? I don't remember seeing it before. Then again, I also didn't know you could change the cover picture until recently.
I know this site for years, it's kind of buggy, yeah. But it also shows the latest releases, so if you check it every couple of days, you can't miss much.
It's kinda bad for mental health though, there's a lot of shit releasing on Steam and What's on Steam may be the better way to see them all.
I now browse upcoming releases directly on Steam and sort every game by Ignore or Wishlist. It took me a while to do it, but now, I do it once a week with Augmented Steam to update the list and I get an email when a game I wanted to know about gets out.
Easier to follow up, imho.
But if you do know a site doing what What's on Steam does but better, let me know, I may be interested in

Nier Automata is art.
When people call games art they do so because games combine many different, classic art forms like Storytelling, "Painting", "Architecture" etc. For me, Nier A is on another level. This game isn't art because it is well designed and beautifully crafted, it is art because it tries to express a philosophical idea through a game. I went blind into it, expecting a confusing, Neon Genesis Evangelion like Sci-Fi story and found a philosophical journey instead. The whole game is designed to demonstrate the existentialist crisis of our human lifes: Existence precedes essence.
It is a bit blunt sometimes, I mean one of the NPCs is even called Sartre and it is not a trans-formative journey and existentialism isn't a mantra. But Nier Automata is a game that was created because of somebodies love for philosophy. We can argue, even question the execution, but I respect the attempt a lot.
So I guess, if you find it in the winter sale. Go get it.
