I know it's not my place to complain or anything, but I'd rather we stopped talking about Era warnings and such. It's fine to link news and stuff from that place, but it's kinda uncomfortable for me to see all this mockery here. It makes me feel we're no better than those forums that have whole threads dedicated to shitting on other forums, and I know we're definitely better than that.
For those waiting, Resonance of Fate got another update today (1.0.04) 11.1MB. Currently the patch notes are only in Japanese, but from what I read it seems to fix infinite loading and sound issues that some players reported.
Hopefully that's the last of the serious issues. I'm glad they're still working on it instead of giving up.

You won't see it. Epic said they won't release numbers. EGS doesn't even has a top-10 list to see which games are selling best.

yup ... it's an impenetrable fortress when it comes to ANY numbers ... we still don't even have the vaguest of ideas about how many fortnite players there are on PC (or any platform split for that game really)
so if Deep Silver doesn't tell anyone - we'll never know ... and why would they? especially if the numbers are bad ...
so yeah, don't expect anything from anyone regarding sales/player numbers

Hm. I'll likely grab Tier 1, Chaos Reborn is on my wishlist and the only Stalker game I have is Call of Pripyat.

Eh Last Leviathan, Chaos Rebron and that STALKER game for $5 is good for me. I'll gift Vermintide 1 to my cousin that way I could finally play it and spend some time playing it with him
that's what humble used to do. but i guess without the average price for the middle tier it's without purpose so I don't really know why they are doing it.
You basically have to have a Chinese partner company (or something similar) last I checked to sell in China, digitally or not. Steam for a long time was a sort of "grey market", technically not allowed but also not policed. So EGS would have to work with someone (Tencent, essentially) to be allowed to be in China and sell games. Then they also have to adopt their store for Chinese law and policies and culture, which is more work and they're still forecasting most of their planned features for end of 2019, so not sure if they could even tackle that.
It's notable that the Chinese market, while huge, mostly focuses on different games compared to almost the entire rest of the world, primarily dedicating their gaming time towards multiplayer online f2p games of one sort or another. Not to say that Metro isn't losing sales by not being there (they are), just that it's probably not losing sales equal to China's market share due to the game type.
Edit: Ironically, the most Chinese-market-friendly game on EGS is Fortnite

Just finished Axiom Verge.
I really really dig the world and art design, especially the Variants and Rusalka. Gave me some sort of Nihei/Blame! vibe and this is never not a good thing.
That said, as a metroidvania and as such a focus on traversal it gets quite a few minus point because the controls are fucking awful in the endgame.
It heavily relies on the short distance teleport ability you get and the controls for that are. Double. Tapping. Direction. Cumbersome when you want to pull it off, yet easy to pull off when you don't want to. Truly the worst of both worlds. WHY. Just put it on L2 instead. The function you get on there is not worth an entire button that could have been the teleport. That heavily sapped my enjoyment from the final stretch. Ugh.

Steam input rebinding to the rescue, not sure why you just didn't bind that macro to L2 on your own..
Because I'm a noob! I managed to put left and right teleport on the paddles, which kind of made things better but only worked if I pressed them while having the stick released, but then you need to be able to do it up and diagonal too...
Ideally I just wanted to move with the stick and when pressing L2 teleport in the direction of the stick, but I'm not Steam Input savvy enough for that on my own.
And thanks to Epic I couldn't just download a fancy community template that had all of that. (Competition yay. At least it was free).

All the side content is done in Odyssey. Wew. Finally. It's been 130+ hours.
Can just focus on finishing up the story now. Episodes 7,8,9 and the Epilogue. When that's done I'll have all the base game+free content achievements too.
Long, sometimes boring, sometimes awesome journey. Most of all just can't wait 'til it's done and move on. Gosh, I'm really hoping I can finish it tomorrow.
Banning myself from Siege 'til it's done!
