I'll say something nice about the Epic Store:
Unlike EA's Origin and Uplay, they are charging me in USD! Meaning I don't gotta deal with USD 1=EUR 1~

well, i mean - where else are we gonna get steam keys for the remaining ubi games? :p
Whatchu need Steam keys for Ubi games for, when you could get Uplay keys for cheaper :V

In my defence, I actually bought Far Cry: New Dawn before the news was out. :)
And I'll probably refund it.
I bought 200 or so items during the latest sales, I think I will be fine skipping a game or two. ;)

GhostTrick is now exclusive (for a limited time) to MC ;)
I know moderation of o a forum that large is very hard... but uffs... they ban him and not the same people always coming and either not reading the thread or just being disingenuous with the "it's just another launcher" stuff.

With regional pricing it was always cheaper for me to buy launch games directly from either Steam or Ubi Store. If the difference isn't that great I ended up getting on Steam just for convenience.

i don't own a single game directly on uplay ... and i don't plan on changing that
I own ODE. :giggle:
So, as you can see, while I bought all of their other games on Steam (plus a few older titles on GOG), if a certain title was exclusive, and properly announced as such, I would have no problems buying the game on Uplay.

But, having a Steam page for the game, publicizing it on the news updates of the first game, and after making me check the page for weeks for pre-orders to open, they announce "sorry, but we don't want your money here on Steam; buy from Epic instead, they are shaking up the gaming industry!", yeah, screw them.

i don't own even that ... and i REALLY want to play that game ... just not enough to actually buy it on uplay

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

that doesn't mean anything ... it's just PR ....

it's purely 100% about money ... it's ALWAYS about money - regardless of what their PR department comes up with to justify it

MONEYHAT GHOST'S EXCLUSIVITY YOU COWARD.
we don't have that kind of money :p lol

There's no pre-order bonus for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, right?

Tizoc I've seen your PM on ERA, but I try to not visit that platformist POS anymore.
Not sure what to tell you though... Don't really have the time to guide you through configuring Steam Controller. Maybe Nabs can help with your issue?

21 ballots so far. Tell me if it is too much spam, I try to post one per page (every 50 posts).

Read the rules in the OT first and send Wok a PM to ask for a link to the Frama form.

The categories for voting:
  • Game of the Year Award
  • DLC of the Year (optional)
  • Early Access of the Year (optional)
  • Turd of the Year (optional)

Deadline: January, 20 at 12 am GMT.

Submitted my votes finally! Sorry for being slow. I did copy the names from the stores exactly like the form asks, so hopefully the trademark/R symbols don't mess anything up?

agreed ... 100% ... 1000000% even
well like

you're dumb

gr

You mean you don't have your video player added on Steam alongside Leeg and alt tab between the two to watch anime AND game on Leeg at the same time?
PLEASE

i have two monitors

Well, I dislike streaming as hell, and Steam is not the easiest way to watch streaming content, but I did use Steam to watch the Ace Attorney anime, which I bought for next to nothing. :p
Oh, and I did buy a few old Flash Gordon serials on Steam recently, since they were cheap as hell, and I can't find them on DVD (let alone Blu-Ray, or HD formats) here in Europe. :giggle:
well if you like watching anime on steam here's something good

I see, so you guys prefer puppets, huh. Well I suppose that's fine too.

i watched a couple episodes of this show but i can't haha

Awww snap, guess I'll start this weekend: JoJo>Mob 2 ep. 1>Thunderbolt.
have you not watched jojo yet? i can't picture you not having watched jojo

Here are the best games released during the first week of 2019. Do not be surprised if anime pops up in your discovery queue.

i wonder what this is about, slow week?

Do not worry about being slow. You still have ten days! I just want to make sure everyone gets an opportunity to (know about the) vote.

There are 78 posters in this thread and 22 votes for now.
i'm sending my votes on the very last day like usual

I wonder if id end up enjoying Artifact more than MTG Arena. Getting sick and tired of all these control decks and shit.

Artifact's meta is dominated by Mono-Blue Control.
Maybe I'll like those then XP
I run a dino deck in MTG Arena among a few other creature centric decks but much of my matches recently were against decks that are mainly designed to prevent me from playing :V

If it wasn't obvious with the way Derrick got poached, I believe there are mods/staff on Era with specific intent to harm or devalue the PC Community in general. Maybe that's a bit strong though, but at the very least there are staff (and ex-staff like the one who was a big trigger to the destruction of Steam OT) who clearly hold grudges against PCEra and certain members, A 24-hour ban should be a 24-hour ban, that other mods can go and free these trolls before their punishment is over is frankly, absurd and highly suspicious.

Personally this just fuels my distrust of Era staff even more.

Sorry for the double post but...

Catherine should be out today and at $20 USD.

Enhanced for PC

Catherine Classic brings to PC the original version of ATLUS’ unparalleled classic action puzzler, now enhanced for modern PCs.

  • Japanese Voice Over available for the first time in the West
  • 4K resolutions
  • Unlocked framerate
  • Customizable keyboard and mouse controls
===========

Nice bonuses there. Can't be too mad about the full-body situation. Maybe they'll sell it to us down the road as DLC!

I look forward to finally play the game.
I played and enjoyed the demo, and bought the game. But... my Xbox 360 broke down, and I was left with a sealed, unplayed copy of the game.
