I don't remember what it feels like to get one.
Heck, I bought a significant amount of gems a while back, and crafted 4 or 5 boosters daily for 3 weeks, and I didn't get a single foil card, so yeah, Valve doesn't like me one bit.

Welp, fuck 'em. It went from "potentially buy near release" to "maybe some time before the heat death of the universe, if I'm still around". Or 75% off, whichever comes first. It's not as if the previous price was good either. It was not, it sucked. But now it sucks even harder. Seriously, fuck 'em.
Yeah I'm in, why not? The first FF was great. The second... well, it exists and is playable, that's the nicest thing I can think of it.

The money Sweeney blew away on the games last year will always go down as a big waste of money. He could of spend all of it into creating dev teams that make new 1st party Epic games themselves. They could have been the next blizzard with Unreal and Fortnite as your driving force.
Instead he so badly wanted for EGS to be the next steam but didn't want to put in all of the hard work that Valve put in over the years to properly build it. Its so embarrassing. You got a multibillionaire on twitter ranting about how they don't have enough engineers to make a shopping cart for their store wtf.

Accounts for nefarious means are always a problem, I can think of one person I know that has over 1k epic accounts used to claim the free games. Not sure of the endgame but whatever. He also has a botfarm to farm those 3 cent cards when steam used to allow cards to drop for games given away for free.

Over a thousand EGS accounts? You mean that you know Tim Sweeney? :cpc_lol:
So he earns 6€ for redeeming 70 games for someone else. Imagine connecting each week for a year to redeem games on several accounts? That is too much of a hassle and too little profit for the time spent. In my opinion, it is not worth anyone's time unless the process is fully automated for many accounts.
This is actually smart. I wish I had built such an army years ago to farm cards during seasonal sales. One could farm 50 cards (at least 1.50€) per bot during the last Winter sales. ArchiSteamFarm helps automating most of the process. Say you have 40 bots, that is a AAA game per seasonal sale.
The only annoyance is that you have to progressively build your army, because you need to unrestrict each account, and that costs upfront money.

If this are widespread, it may be a huge problem, good for the devs that are getting paid by Epic to give their games away, if they are been paid by unit that is, if not, they will have a hard time convincing people to buy their games by legitim means. Epic was trying to be G2A all along. lol
Ended up being pirate bay instead.XD (since most use them for free games)
By the way, madjoki, do you know if I can unrestrict a limited account by gifting a 5€ Steam digital card to my main account? As far as I understand, it should work. I am thinking of building a small army in prevision of the summer sales.
