Seems like the VR version at least isn't great...
Sucks, I was looking forward to it. Guess I'll go back to try and finish Obduction. It works well enough in VR outside some performance troubles.

Somehow I pulled a Shuten with my free quartz after completing Orleans campaign.
What servants should I raise for Onigashima?
Onigashima has some servants getting bonus for being japanese, that said thanks to the +dmg CEs of the event even regular servants are obscenely strong, keep in mind you get Rider Kintoki for free which is Japanese but needs to be leveled up + ascended with the event materials.
The 3 oni are all males so Euryale is devastating with the bonus damage CEs even the Blue oni that resists to arts (plus you can negate resistance or increase damage with the event-items).
Ushi Gozen is a zerker so you can wreck her with anything, Kintoki is a good choice but I forgot if you get him to a decent level by then.
Even if you wipe you still the damage points added to your score to climb the damage ladder, and you need 100 millions to get the ascension mats for Kintoki.
I would level up Euryale if you have her since she's good in an arts team with a friend waver or Tamamo, besides her it really depends on what you have and what you have access through your friendlist.

You are starting from scratches but the event should be easy with all the +dmg stuff flying around,
edit: personally outside of Merlin and Waver I'll be rotating my support list depending on the boss
Green Oni - Medb or Kintoki (he should still be able to melt the boss)
Blue Oni - Orion
Red Oni - Shiki or Jack (probably Jack since she's NP4, gonna see whichever kills it faster)

i wish they'd finally add some real AA to the game ... because MLAA is fucking shit and "scaling" does fuck all ... and the jaggies are LITERALLY killing me every single time i play those games

While we're still on dx9, you should look into using Nvidia inspector to force 4xMSAA & 4xSGSSAA. The game can look pretty clean.the sooner the better!

i think it's still considered experimental for now. I don't know if they've talked about much. Here's hoping for a whole bunch of goodies down the line.

Is the game hard to run? Personally I would skip SMAA on this and try for downsampling if it's an option. Also MXAO depending on if it works properly or not. (Somtimes it's iffy with animu games.)I love Reshade.

Reshades are one of those things whose existence i can totally appreciate but that i never actually use because i'm too much of a lazy fuck.
I'm already downsampling from 1440p. For some reason 4k doesn't work properly (I only see the top-left quarter of the screen...), but I've just realized there's someting else I can still try. Edit: Nah, doesn't work.
MXAO doesn't seem to do anything, but maybe I checked a bad spot.
Thought this looked pretty cool.
