Though, I'd still suggest you to keep your expectations low, it's atlus and if you really are an atlus fan you should be aware they never do things how you want them to.
Getting it either on EGS via promo code or buying it on PS5 if I don't get EGS promo code, but regardless will get it on Steam when it's there.
Alright, todays the day! Microsoft, PC Gaming Show, Square Enix! Time for some good frickin' food.
The most disappointing thing about Ubisoft is they seem all in on AAA and weird service games. And now they are chasing F2P service as well.
They have so much resources it would be nice if they made more stuff like Grow Up, Grow Home, Child of light, Valiant Hearts etc.
And they have a subscription service so these smaller titles would be perfect for it just like all the 3rd party indies that constantly get dropped on Gamepass.
The way they are now as a company is generic and boring. Like that L4D tactical rainbow six game they showed yesterday. Everything about it looked fucking awful from start to finish. Would rather they throw it in the trash and use that budget to give us 3-5 small titles.

Their prior game - Castle in the Darkness - was pretty fun so I expect that to be pretty neat. Kinda expensive but the regional pricing is great so can't complain, gonna grab it whenever I get into a Metroidvania binge mood.A tempting retro metroidvania.

So today is gamepass,gamepass,gamepass, gamepass and gamepass day. With probably a few "crap, I bought this game, haven't played yet, and now it is coming to gamepass" in there.
The nice surprise for us of course would be if Microsoft announced the rumored new PC store/cdn system, but I imagine that has a better chance (if any at all) to appear in the Windows event.
I should probably make an image of my fresh Windows install just in case they have something that makes me want to try to use their current system... you never know when that will break something.

That chorus in May's theme is soooo good.Her theme seemed so out-of-place to me at the start, but it's really grown on me.

Thanks for the tips on May, I've been trying to get better with her dolphin skill ever since I got destroyed by it online. It's pretty hard to instinctively know when you have the charge done so I can't consistently chain the dolphin skill. Also got wrecked by a Zato player online as well. Seems like a interesting character with his puppet style. Might try him out sometime as well.
I've been maining Rem in the meanwhile because giant swords and I've realised once you get an opponent towards the wall you can exert a lot of pressure. Also she has a lot of range which is nice.
I like when they straight up say that everything you see in today's show will launch on Gamepass day one. They did that last year and the year before I believe. It clears up so much confusion and they don't need to individually address every world premiere lol.
But now that Elden Ring has been shown...I don't have too high expectations for Xbox show.
just give me some gameplay footage of Starfield, Fable, Perfect Dark and/or Avowed.
I would be okay with 2 of those 4 plus ofc Halo. I think that would make for a good show. Also maybe some 3rd party updates like Gotham Knights or Suicide Squad. Some updates for Cyberpunk would be good too but I doubt CDPR will do it.

I'd imagine they will do something similar this time. But we will probably still have to read the "fine print" in the trailers to see if that also means Gamepass PC or just console (or cloud).
Of course, the reasonable thing here it to expect a shitty presentation since that's the case 9 out 10 times and there was/is that pesky little pandemic and all, but between all the money Microsoft is dumping on gamepass and probably trying to show off the Bethesda acquisition, at least there is some potential.
And then maybe there is some surprise on the PC Gaming Show.... but then you have to search for the "EGS" sticker on it

Wishlist ? I... don't know as I never expect something specific from those shows. Outside of A P5R port, I would more globally wish to see some big games from Microsoft, the fruit of all those years of 'we are listening', 'changing cap' etc. Would be nice to see Xbox catch up to Sony in the AAA field.

As today there are a lot of conferences and I have things to do, I will just post the top 10 and analysis will come as soon as I have time to write it.
Pretty sure insiders said it won't be there today but it'll be at the sony event because it's exclusive
no it won't, don't expect big things on that conference.
As a matter of fact, the FF1-6 collection could very well be Nintendo conference.
