Seems unlikely to me that FFVIIR EGS exclusivity would be less than a year. but hey, stranger things have happened and we'll find out soon enoughWell according to SteamDB FFVII got updated few hours ago.

I don't do ladder either (or regular multiplayer) but the SC difficulty rework is a great news, it was absolutely useless before, especially once you get to 15s.Don't know if anyone else plays DJMAX here.

I find it funny that "we don't know how to do 3D reflections so let's wing it with mirroring everything" of ye olden days looks better than all of our modern fancy tech.Neon White gets in my good books for having what I'm guessing is duplicated level geometry for its reflections, instead of smeary screenspace ones.

Those look like screenspace ones thoughNeon White gets in my good books for having what I'm guessing is duplicated level geometry for its reflections, instead of smeary screenspace ones.
I mean, I’d probably pay a buck for it. But they’re not getting anywhere near full price from me.Even if FF VII Remake gets shadow dropped at $1, I'd wait to see if they improved the dog shit port they released on EGS.
Saber released a game without EGS exclusivity? What's going on?Looking forward to Redout 2 releasing later today.
Epic stopped paying.Saber released a game without EGS exclusivity? What's going on?

On the heels of one new logo, we're ready to reveal another. In #SonicOrigins, releasing in just one week, you'll see this - the logo for our "Path Tracer" Movement and Collision System, a component of our own HCGE and Methyl engines that has been adapted into Sonic 3 & Knuckles!
The Path Tracer began development in 1997 and is a highly optimized core component of Headcannon's game engines, performing high-resolution collision detection that literally traces along solid paths and can provide accurate point-of-contact hit response and terrain gripping.
Its use is a result of S3&K's complexity requiring an overall more robust system than was used for previous games, which are still running through compatibility support for their previous engine versions. The Path Tracer has been abstracted and made part of the S3&K game itself.
This is a novel use of the Path Tracer as a discrete system - until now, it has been inseparable from our game engines, but this opens up interesting possibilities. We're proud to have our technology featured in such a high profile property and hope to achieve even more with it!
Says that it's verified for Deck. Pretty surprising to see that Square would go out of their way to make sure that the game runs on it.
dang, guess Epic only paid for six months of exclusivity after all, unlike nearly everything else they've moneyhatted. glad I was wrong
you can count on itWatch it be full price still
zero chanceIm more interested to know if Part 2 will be on PC day 1
