Sega is re-releasing After Burner Climax on mobile:

Hopefully this will mean a console re-release, and finally a PC release for the game.
I had it for my (now broken) Xbox 360, and it was a lot of fun.

Oh shiiiiiii
Hope my ipad and samsung s9 can run this without issue.

Don't see anything at 18" but there's plenty at around 15, like even Microsoft's own Surface Book stuff. Most have detachable keyboards and I'm pretty sure that in most they're purely optional rather than have more powerful specs or whatever when attached. My local price comparison site lets me search for tablets at various sizes including an over 11" parameter which is how I came up with these so see if there's a site doing that for you. They're all too expensive for me tho.

Edit: ok so not quite plenty, mostly Microsoft and HP have these. Both have some called "<brand> Book" among other naming schemes.
Yeah I saw some ones at 15", but I'm really looking for something at least 18" if not larger. I could use 15" if I absolutely had to, but I would really prefer as big a screen as possible.

Especially since as you noticed, they're expensive as heck, so I might as well try to find exactly what I need if I can!

Me too, but how come the ESRB never lists the PC version? It was announced for Windows right? Are they just not submitting that version to ESRB maybe? Or is it gonna be delayed? o_O
I looked into this, seems the PC versions of Zero Escape games never had an ESRB rating either:

Note that it says the console versions were published by Aksys, where as the PC versions were published by SpikeChunsoft themselfs.

Also i wasn't even aware Banner of the Maid had a steam store page yet.
I'm actually really looking forward to it. Would be a shame if it dropped the western release.
SRPGs + historical settings + anime bahoobas are my jam.
And it has an incredibly pretty style to boot.

Not completely PC gaming related, but I went to my second FGC locals today! I think I'll bring my laptop next time this one meets, I saw others on laptops and I have all the games in the current rotation on Steam anyway.

If it isn't called BattleDB I would be disappointed.

Can anyone recommend me an universal stand that would help me getting my second monitor vertical? The one that came with it years ago doesn't support it sadly.

Estranged Act II is free to keep if you get it during Early Access:
Alan Edwardes said:
I asked Valve to ensure that anyone that downloaded the game for free during Early Access could keep it forever, even if it transitions to being a paid title for the full release (this was a pledge I made a long time ago when Estranged: Act II first entered Early Access).

For every game that gets turned into an epic exclusive, y'all should try to suggest 2 or more indie games that others should try or even a new genre for them to delve into
Couldn't agree more! (y)
People are getting too caught up on these exclusives. I mean, on the day Microsoft announced the Halo series would be returning to the PC , including Steam (and possibly more games as well), many where caught up about that Phoenix Point scummy deal, and possibly Borderlands 3 releasing only on Epic. Really?!

I'll repeat something I keep saying: no matter who great a game or two is (from the pool of titles that is going for these EGS exclusivity deals), you have dozens of other titles releasing, or already released, on others stores that are equally good. And, if you are like me, you probably have dozens or hundreds of better games on your backlog. :giggle:
You can easily choose to not support these titles and companies.

Anyone has a list of exclusives, so we can recommend alternatives?

I mean, let's take Phoenix Point. Yeah, it was a promising game. But are we lacking options in the genre? Has everyone already played all the below games that are already released:

Or will be releasing soon-ish:

Not to mention the "big ones":

I want to like this more but it really needs a difficulty and design pass. It's almost more of a puzzle game. It has incredible tight timers and if you don't select the correct crew members and use the correct abilities at the right time and in the right combinations you fail. There is no tactical freedom in the game at all. It demands to be played one way and one way only.

2 hours in SOTFS can't say I love anything about it so far. You have to deal with an enemy ambush every 2 steps which makes the exploration really sluggish/unpleasant. At least the game is a looker when downsampling from 4K.

Battletech shaping up to get another set of good content soon. The devs at HBS are moving to a bigger studio location!
How is Hitman 2? I didn't play 2016. And have never played a Hitman game at all.
Its great! If you haven't played any Hitman before I recommend getting the DLC or Legacy pack that lets you play the Hitman 2016 levels in Hitman 2 so you can see all the story since it is connected. Either way though, its a great game if you want to enjoy a silly murder sandbox.

Bleh, I saw it has a season pass. The game+DLC is on CDKeys for $18, so I was just curious.

The game is a lot of fun! I can't recommend it enough.
Metacouncil users even voted it game of the year 2018.

There's a Hitman 2 free starter pack on Steam. Give it a try, for a sample of the game.
Do note that this is the intro map, the rest of the locations (both for this, and the previous game) are big maps, with a lot of freedom, a lot of ways to accomplish your objectives. That free small map is more linear than the rest of the game.

Since you are not familiar with the series, as it may be easy to understand, you play as a Hitman, and you get jobs to murder certain targets.
You can do so in a million ways: fake an accident, poison them, kill them from a distance with a sniper riffle, (...). Ideally, you will complete the mission killing only your target, without being spotted, and without anyone suspecting of anything.
In order to do so, you can steal the clothes of other people to infiltrate locations without arousing suspicion, pick locks, find different entry points, (...).

It's one of the rare games where replaying the maps over and over is actually a lot of fun, because you can do things radically different.
Plus. each location has different challenges, special events (like seasonal missions and elusive targets, the later missions where you only have one chance to complete your mission), extra missions, and user created content.

You also have the Sniper Assassin Mode (that currently has a single map, but more are coming) that is played exclusively by using a sniper riffle to shoot targets.

Here's a trailer for the free starter pack:

Well, I have surprisingly already passed many hours on Two Point Hospital, the game is fun and the perfect refresher between games like The Division 2.
But now I have to pay for it and can't budget it, knew free week ends were a bad idea :anguished-face:

Still far from perfect, the difficulty is on the easy side but it's all good because the moment you want to have a clear view of your budget... good fucking luck ! And I physically can't stand the fact that in this world, doctors and nurses swap desk like it's free candy, goddamn.

I still would like to play more of it :drinking-blob:

Tropico 6 is another out of budget game, it seems far too late to play 5, which for the little I played was super long, but I may not have much of a choice. And the music was sooooo good.

Btw what the fuck, it’s from 4 ? Maybe I didn’t even play 5 :disapproval-blob:

Edit - It seems it is in 5 too.

Just finished Killer is Dead, which I think I started 2 years ago, lol.
I really loved how stylish, weird and crazy the artstyle and store are. Was not a fan of the "Gigolo Missions" though...
...That makes 20 games this year so far.
I'm in the mood to play some stuff more I've had for a while, but haven't finished or even started for whatever reasons, but I'm not sure what yet.
