I'll try to do my best!!!If that game ends up being XCOM3 I don't give a damn what your NDA says. Your first duty is to report that right here.
Even with all the patches? Shame.HZD crashes all the time, I've only had a couple of periods where I could play uninterrupted for a couple of hours. This is so annoying
How long ago did you buy the Steam version and if you played it how many hours did you play it for? When did Steam support turn bad? I consider myself to be a collector of digital games on Steam and buy new games weekly. I rarely feel the need to request a refund, even if I think that the game I bought sucked, but refunds have been granted on the rare occasions I have requested one, irrespective of the "two week rule".
Apparently, things have changed over there, and my request was now denied with reference to the "two week rule" after what seems like automatic review of my request.
My request was extremely reasonable. I bought the windows 10 version of The Outer Worlds at release, and I wanted to simplify continuing to play the game (and support the developer) by purchasing the Steam version as well. Unfortunately, some bug prevented me from transferring my save file over to the Steam version, but I continued to wait for a fix. The fix never materialized and after the last DLC I guess they are done with the game, so I requested a refund for this version of the game on Steam that is of no use to me. Was denied automatically ...
I have played the game for 17 minutes, trying but failing to get my old save file to work since end of last year when I bought it.How long ago did you buy the Steam version and if you played it how many hours did you play it for?
But it's way past the two week refund time. Them denying you refund is correctI have played the game for 17 minutes, trying but failing to get my old save file to work since end of last year when I bought it.
It depends on how you look at it, I guess. It is not correct if they want to entice me to continue buying games at a premium through the Steam store for convenience and to get warranty. I rarely play games intensely for the first two weeks, so the actual warranty terms (two week grace period rather than review on a case by case basis) they offer are meaningless for me. Furthermore, dealing with this support issue has been anything but convenient. But it's way past the two week refund time. Them denying you refund is correct
Although your Resident Evil preorder should qualify you refund. I just checked on the store page, and I can't see that it doesn't offer refund
Damn. That is disappointing. Even if your request did not follow the rules, I thought it could have been accepted by a human reviewer.I got this answer:
There are more details below, but even if you fall outside of the refund rules we’ve described, you can ask for a refund anyway and we’ll take a look.
This is wrong. My request for a refund on my preorder of Resident Evil Village was just denied. Apparently, my purchase of this pre-order does not qualify for a refund. To ensure future eligibility I have to make sure to cancel my preorders within two weeks!
I think you may have triggered a warning flag by simultaneously requesting 7 refunds. When you pre-purchase a title on Steam (and have paid for the title in advance), you can request a refund at any time prior to release of that title. The standard 14-day/two-hour refund period also applies, starting on the game’s release date.
Other than that, I would push further for the refund of RE Village.Refunds are designed to remove the risk from purchasing titles on Steam—not as a way to get free games. If it appears to us that you are abusing refunds, we may stop offering them to you. We do not consider it abuse to request a refund on a title that was purchased just before a sale and then immediately rebuying that title for the sale price.
My refund request was denied. Can I contest this decision?
If you feel that there has been an error in the handling of your refund inquiry, please submit another request at help.steampowered.com. The request will be reviewed by another Valve employee.
Her chapter is great.I'm playinh through Haruka's part of story on Yakuza 5 an I wasn't expectingMs. Park death and I doubt it was a suicide
Definitely keeping an eye on this.Is there no store page yet for this? Literally a Western HD Fire Emblem.
It may seem that I favor Steam in this case. But I feel that you should think twice or more times before purchasing a game. Buying games and request refunds most of the times will flag you as abuser. I believe Steam even tells you that you should read/watch reviews when refunding too many games in short time.It depends on how you look at it, I guess. I requested refunds for seven out of the nine games that I had purchased the last two weeks, and I requested refunds for all my pending pre-orders as well.
I see less game purchases on PC in my future and most of them going to key resellers like cdkeys.com.
Me too. Tried the demo and left disappointed.Tried Gamedec and i am disappointed. No gamepad support, no free movement just P&C (i just don't get why) and writing is really mediocre.
Buying from resellers will obviously help a lot because I will pay a lot less money for a lack of warranty that for me would be of equivalent utility compared to the Steam store warranty. It may seem that I favor Steam in this case. And also they have a refund policy for a reason, so that people don't abuse refund. They cannot change for each individual case.
I am sorry if what I say doesn't help at all, but I think Steam is correct for denying your refund request.
Buying from key resellers wont help you in the future at all. The situation is same if something doesn't work. You cannot refund

I think d00d3n said they mentioned it at some point. If transferring save files wasn't mentioned by developer and publisher you can't say that game is broken and needs to be fixed.
iirc you have to request the refund throug a bit different way if you want human answer beyond the auomatic one (dont remember exact steps now). When did Steam support turn bad? That very much was a perfect trailer to me. The narrative part is a little long but you follow it with pleasure, then bam, gameplay. Just waiting on reviews about the difficulty, but other than that, thumbs up.Ladies and Gentlemen, because Death's Door looks absolutely fantastic, please allow me to post the reveal trailer.... NOW WATCH IT, GODDAMNIT! BIRD WITH A SWORD!
Because I love birds, I had a giant grin on my face when watching the narrative part, and the animations are so fluid! That very much was a perfect trailer to me. Sounds to me it is definitely not for everyone. On the contrary, Death's Door looks like a traditional action dungeon crawler.Titan Souls is a strategic, open world, 2D, top-down action-adventure, where the player has only one arrow and can only take one hit. The goal is to defeat the nineteen giant monsters called the Titans, which can, just like the player, only take one hit but only have one way to be defeated. During the fight, the player has to figure out how the respective boss behaves and by that find a way to defeat that boss. The difficulty is that the single arrow has to be charged to be shot and afterwards has to be retrieved to be reused, each action only able to be done while the player is standing still, making them an easy target for the bosses.

I bought it yesterday. Really eager to play it. So you will be reading my review in about 3-5 years.Alex Salmonds new political party official video game.....
This. You definitely should get a refund from a preorder, so the system has probably flagged you for the 7 recent refunds you mentioned.I think you may have triggered a warning flag by simultaneously requesting 7 refunds.

This is actually really interesting, this is a copy-paste of my latest tweet.
Let's see, Could the closing of the PS3/Vita stores be an opportunity for some smaller devs to port some of their older stuff to PC/other platforms? this is really interesting and it would be amazing to see older Japanese content/console-exclusive Indie content coming elsewhere.
let's make it official:
