I have difficulties not being extremely bitter with Sony closing their PS3 and Vita store. More than I should as I don’t really care for either that much.
They are giving the finger to entire generations of games, making purchasing dlc or multiplayer impossible. One day they evidently will shut the redownload function off, too. That’s not even a maybe.
Preservation is useless, we have new products for you to buy, anyway.

It‘s complicated and each one is different, some triggers are personal, but at the end of the day, they really do a good job advocating for piracy.
Sony is shit but the shittier part is actually human beings defending Sony's move as "it is costly to maintain servers". Lmao, it's not like I can't buy Restaurant Empire II, a game from 2009 on Steam, and Freedom Force, a game released in 2002, on GOG. And both of these storefronts don't even charge for multiplayer yet they can host games across decades and not setting up Patreons to help them with server costs.

These are my STEAM settings.

Like I say, it used to work, but now it doesn't and I cant remember changing anything.
I don't know if you ended up finding a solution to your problem, but I just managed to get rid of that error message.

I discovered that my Steam account's privacy settings had nothing to do with it...
Although I had linked my Steam account with MC's, I noticed that under "Account details" I hadn't set my Steam ID. So, I did... and since the message underneath the field mentioned pulling data from Exophase... I created an account on there and it worked!

Maybe you've changed your custom Steam ID (since it can be edited) and the link is now broken?

So, when you set a gamepad to "hide" in Steam's controller options.

Is it supposed to make it not recognized by games like it doesn't exist? Or just have Steam input not do anything with it and it works as normal?

I wanted it to act like it doesn't exist for Steam, but that didn't seem to be the case.

When I run Styx, it still gets constant camera input from my flight stick instead of gamepad (which works simultaneously) and I can't play unless I unplug it!

So I thought it does the latter. But then in Absolute Territory the flight stick didn't show as a controller possible to map at all until I disabled Steam input for it!

So which is it, Steam :suicide-blob:

Downunder.
Just to chime in a bit about Sony and their PSN store closing for PS1/PS2/Ps3/PSP/Vita games.

You can't browse the old (web) store anymore (it returned HTTP 404) and the old wishlist is gone, including the download list. The only thing left is your purchases for PS4 and PS5. So effectively the PSDLE browser extension -- which you can use to export a list of your purchases and download them to your PC -- won't work anymore.

However, as of today the Zeus server is still up, and you can still download your library from it, but there's no guarantee that the server will still be up weeks from now, so if you need to download stuff from there, now's your chance~!

I lost several Senran Kagura games, a Trails game, and a Tales game.

Goddammit Bamco port your games to modern system already.

Steam is an entirely massive platform on its own. Just compared to fansites like rom hosting sites and mod sites like nexusmods, Sony is extremely pathetic on this. Are they going to tell me that Sony doesn't have the cost to maintain servers for games store and download while those sites that are managed by a few people at most can? How pathetic a massive corporation can be? Oh, and don't let me start on mods with online mode and/or private servers that run for many years, while Sony will happily cut their not so popular online game/service in a year or two.

Sony would rather not spend money if they don't have to. It's not a defense, it's just how capitalism works. If there was money to be made in proper preservation Sony would be all about it.

If I were a loyal Sony fan (lol) I'd be beyond pissed with PS3/PSP/Vita store closing down. But that's cause Jim Ryan doesn't believe videogames are art. For him they're just a product and it is better when you sell the latest one because that's the one that will generate more revenue. I mean every company at their core believe this, but at least they give the appearance of giving a shit lol

I do still have my PS3, but aint going to be in a spending spree just because Sony doesn't feel like selling me their games anymore. Fuck 'em.

Speaking of Restaurant Empire 2, it is bundled with the original Restaurant Empire which has UI problems in Full HD.

The game is super fun and challenging, same as I remembered when I first played it in 2005. However, it feels extremely dated and needs a LOT of QoL.

This is still in early access and looked like it will be the modern version of Restaurant Empire. I was ready to buy it but it seemed like its current improvements are beautification of the game which for a tycoon/simulator game is not that important? I fucking love Parkitect.

My immune system finally kicked in and boy it is strange to feel both fine and crushed at the same time xD Well at least I know that they didn't gave me placebo XD
I felt fine on the day of my jab, felt a bit bleh during the day on Sunday and then slept for 16 hours that night. Good job i'd sent a text to my boss saying i had my jab and might be late as i was feeling bleh as i ended up not signing in yesterday because i didn't wake up until the afternoon.

Back at work today though. Bleh.

famous last words before they're shuttered
The "Available outside the Sony Ecosystem." is going to annoy a lot of people who were arguing against that. lol.

I was fine all day until I went to bed. Had light chills but no temperature and when I woke up this morning my head was killing me. But I am fine now XD

Fingers crossed for NMH 1&2 and Olive town for PC, heck, even Rune factory 5.

It won't be any of that, you will see :crying-face:
There was a 'new' Corpse Party game recently so I'd bet on that (and NMH PC).

For those out of the loop, there have been 4 hotfixes out for Starsector already. Just get the latest version of the installer on the official page and you're set.

Today, Activision Blizzard announced the promotion of Blizzard chief commercial officer and the chief operating officer Armin Zerza to CFO of the whole company. What it did not announce to the public is that it has also hired a new chief administrative officer: former Donald Trump administration member Brian Bulatao.
Fuck Activision

I'm honestly not sure if this is legitimate or if the devs are playing an early April Fools joke.

Too many card games releasing. Not enough hours in the day. Not playing.
Runeterra / MTG on iOS / Shadowverse on iOS / now Shadowverse solo for Switch.

Copy me like and make days 72 hours.

Wait, maybe there will be pantsu ? I'll allow it.
