happy birthday!

Supraland is well worth its praise but it is....'too much' for me.
In what way? If you feel like there are too many things to keep track of, I'd say that it's typical of any metroidvania... although usually they have a map that implicitly helps you to remember where things are.

Maybe you could try taking some notes? Although it's mostly unnecessary as you'll have to traverse the same places over and over (and, as time goes by, increasingly faster and unencumbered by the need of having to deal with obstacles).

Kinda spoilerish but not really: the game is rather considerate of your time as you'll regularly get tools/upgrades that'll help you find things... (with that said, I'm missing two chests).

Metropolis Zone theme from Sonic 2 is lovely. Alas it is the music you hear in Hell as well.

Anyways looking at the poll, lots of us are getting Yakuza K2 which is neat.

What this made me notice is that Metacouncil is basically the only website I frequently visit which is just as usable without addons as it is with addons. 👍

not even google analytics are linked to MC .... so the only thing that can cause any problems are the embeds, but there's really no way to get around that (other than disabling all of them, i guess)

im kind of in one of those lulls where i dont know what to play and im staring at some wishlisted stuff on the golden week sale

Same. I'm waiting to the last minute which is always a bad idea because I'll most likely buy more than I should. There's a lot that I want but my budget is extremely tight. :negative-blob:

Just having a hard time picking, because there's a few I want.

Watch the game be an EGS exclusive in 3..2..1 and the post above just a part of PR saving smokescreen.

It's good to see some resistance to EGS, but I assume most devs or publishers will not be in a position to say no if enough money is on the line, either because they actually need the money to ensure they don't go broke, or to get ensured ROI on the PC port. Both of these are shortsighted reasons, but in an industry as unhealthy and shortsighted as video games, money will always win over anything else.

I'm so exhausted with live games. I'm trying to figure out what to delete to make space for other games, and all these FOMO exploiting, engagement boosting timed event laden games are clogging up my storage. Really need to stop buying these traps and play games that can be finished.

yeah ... i pretty much just uninstall all of them once i'm done with the story mode (and maybe DLC)

I'm one of those who can't help but play the same games over and over.

Anime games.

🤢

I see most of the indie exclusives as having no faith in their game quality-wise or sales-wise. The Bastion devs had a lightning in the bottle that one time and are falling into obscurity game after game.

I really should try out some more 30 FPS locked games on Steam just so I can take note of which ones don't feel like I'm walking with a ball and chain tied to my leg. It's like something holding you back from moving properly or some shit.
Case in point Final Fantasy Type-0, an anime as fuck game that tries to tell a rather interesting and serious story but held back by its anime-ness and attempt at retreading FF8's military high school setting :V
Also why the heck is there a piss filter on the cutscenes.

DS4Windows updated with super-neat feature - emulating Dualshock 4, original version v1 (yo, dawg, you can emulate DS4 on your DS4..)
Ryochan7/DS4Windows
How this helps? For example: Nex Machina works properly only if i connect my DS4 V2 with USB wire, but not wireless through BT dongle, with DS4Windows now you can do that.
Another example; Fez (and other older games with DS4 support) detects only old version of Dualshock 4 (V1), but not V2, with DS4Windows now i can play with playstation button prompts!
Of course, you need to disable Steam Playstation controller support before that..Maybe Valve will implement something like this in future
