I think it's actually a lot better in that regard than FC, which is the slowest game in the series. Zero ramps up a lot quicker, and has you at least on the level of proper police action by the time of chapter 1, and doing some pretty major police stuff by Chapter 2.Surprised those two Trails games sold above expectations. I thought they were doomed to either stay fantranslated or flop horribly. I really should replay Zero, I got pretty far into the fan translation when it came out, I regret not beating it now. It's a bit of a slow burn, even more so than the other games.
On the opposite side, my mate didn't get his today sadlyWell, for all the talk I heard about Amazon being unreliable for Day 1 releases, my copy of THE "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" GAME FOR "Nintendo Switch" SYSTEM arrived just a few minutes ago. Guess I'll give my poor PC the rest it deserves for a bit.
I was.Was anybody else able to play Far Cry 6? Useless Ubisoft Connect says it can't connect to the server effectively locking me out of the single player game I just bought![]()
Asus ROG Ally review: A solid but imperfect Steam Deck challenger
Not the Steam Deck killer we expected
The Asus ROG Ally is a Windows 11-based gaming handheld boasting powerful specs and a sleek design. While it’s a solid device on its own, it’s not quite on par with the Steam Deck.
Pros
- Fetching design
- Bright, colorful display
- Ergonomic controls
- Compatible with multiple launchers
Cons
- Poor battery life
- Lack of dedicated UI
- Good but not great performance

What slows Zero down so much is if you want to talk to all NPCs all the time, since Crossbell has like 60 of them, and the game updates them like 3 times every chapter, which is crazy when you consider the amount of text that amounts to. Now, I personally loved reading all those NPCs, that's my jam, but I can understand how it's offputting if you aren't into that. ON THE OTHER HAND, I also don't understand why you'd force yourself to do so if you don't find it enjoyable. I guess that's one of the reasons I find completionism so weird. Just do the things you like and ignore everything else. The game doesn't expect you to follow every little character.
Falcom has trained me into being an NPC dialogue completionist.I think it's actually a lot better in that regard than FC, which is the slowest game in the series. It looks like a RTWP (Real time with pause) kind of, bullet hell kind of just every time you stop moving or doing anything it automagically pauses. Looks kind of neat
I recently just played my Deck outside on a bright sunny day and had no issues seeing it, it definitely feels comparable to my fairly bright phone screen, so that maybe is weird. One thing I noticed that is a bit odd, is their Steam Deck only measures at 169.7 nits, which seems really low compared to the listed specs. I cannot speak on the exact brightness of my Deck, but I know it gets fairly bright.

External SSDs For The Win!Like Gamall Wednesday Ida I had no problem getting it running. Only tested it on Windows just now since my Linux laptop didnt have 170 GB free space(and btw it absolutely installs DLCs I dont own, wasting - in my case - 32 GB of space)
Then it's on my end. Ubisoft Connect says that it couldn't access the servers and that the connection was lost, so I can't even launch the game. Tried it on my PC and on the Steam Deck. Nothing so far...Like Gamall Wednesday Ida I had no problem getting it running. I cannot play these games without talking to every NPC every update. So yeah, while FC was slower, it wasn't as huge. Crossbell is so big compared to Liberl cities.I think it's actually a lot better in that regard than FC, which is the slowest game in the series. If they focused on an FF8 Remake instead of that awful FF7, they would be OK.
Square "didn't meet our expectations" Enix is basically only Japanese gaming company right now that is trending down. Capcom, Sega, Bandai, Koei all are doing good to amazing, but Square is somehow always down.

Well, if you can't make it on the open market, you go exclusive.Clearly the solution is more moneyhats.

The sad thing is SE is still one of my favorite publishers solely in terms of game output. In the past 18 months or so I've enjoyed Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster, Triangle Strategy, Live a Live, Tactics Ogre, Octopath 2, Final Fantasy Origins and PowerWash Simulator. I'm also excited for FF 16 and 7 Rebirth. They have great devs, but upper management is braindead.

Releases like 20 games within 2 months with little to no marketing and absurd pricing
They don't sell

what would that be? Continue playing Zelda even if he doesn't like it?I can understand why cohh doesn't want to deal with the rabid nintendo base but I would dig my heels in and probably do other things to piss them off more, but that's just me.

They had their 2nd best financial year ever (only down from last year) despite having no major releases outside of forspoken flopping. They're doing great despite how much people don't want them to.
I mean, we all agree Square Enix is poorly managed.
Surely?
Their AA output was questionable too. I was interested (still am) in many games they put out late last year, but they released so many similar titles only few weeks apart it was mind boggling that they expected all of them to sell well.Their HD games division, absolutely.
With or without them selling almost half of their company and assets (aka their west division)? They had their 2nd best financial year ever (only down from last year) despite having no major releases outside of forspoken flopping. They're doing great despite how much people don't want them to.
