Planet Zoo reviews are looking just fine and it seems that one of its major downsides are bugs, which should be fixed in the coming months. I'll definitely buy it by then.

I'm in a weird loop of work - chores - Destiny 2 - sleep. I was not expecting to enjoy Destiny 2 so much. I knew I should not have tried it.

Quick translation: people who live in Germany but aren't German citizens (→ who don't have a German ID card or passport) can't play RDR2 or GTA5 through the R* Games Launcher because it requires a German ID/passport to prove that the players are at least 18 years old.
R* is working to find a workaround but for now, non-German citizens in Germany who bought those games are locked out.

Tried the Daemon x Machina Switch demo. I didn’t expect a user experience trainwreck of this magnitude.
Basically the designers found it acceptable to have 90% of the lore bits dumped during dialogs with your teammates. During missions. Where you just want and have to shoot things. In a minuscule font in handheld mode.
Basically it’s launch mission, yap yap yap, you trying to shoot things and follow the demented flow of yap yap yap, and then a good 5 minutes more of yap yap yap.
If you are a native English speaker it must be unbearable but you can do both. Me not being bilingual, I just missed most of the yap yap yap.
Then again it has a mission structure with loot. My inner hunter wants me to give this shit another chance.

Yep your right, it does work but it no longer works with native controller support so it defaults to the steam overlay and the x box buttons which annoys me. I wish more games would just include both button icons and let you choose which one you want from an options menu.

Me! I loved Absolute Drift so this one looks pretty cool.
I really like top down racing games but that spinning camera makes me want to puke. It's a shame because it looks pretty cool.
They're right, if a game is exclusive it should be penalized because the vast majority of people cannot play it.

So, whenever I've exited Phantom Doctrine, Steam crashes. However, I believe it has more to do with Steam's new library. Because everytime I restart Steam, I have a new card from the game available. It seems something in Steam craps out when exiting a game when a new card is available.

Yeah polygon gets shit and there have been some stupid articles. But damn it, for someone like me who thrives on the different and weird gaming wise, I've loved some of their content.
So, the list then;
The fact that The Stanley Parable, Gorogoa, Universal Paperclips, Frog Fractions, Gone Home, P.T and KRZ make the list is everything lol. (not the game, although that's on the list too!) Thank you polygon isn't heard over the desperate screaming of why Zelda botw wasn't number 1 (its #2 btw lol) Guess what, people like me don't care how high on a list a game is, because how the fuck do you quantify the difference between 73 and 67? You don't and THATS OK PEOPLE.
Oh, so KRZ isn't finished and P.T isn't an actual game... ok.... hmmmm.... let me formulate a response here...

Not with that game but for some reason No Mans Sky crashes Steam on exit for me. Just add it to the long list of bugs that annoy me about an otherwise goodish game (eventually). It was crashing before the Steam update though.
Most probably it's the card drop glitch that hasn't been fixed. A card drop happens whenever you start and quit the game instantly. Sometimes it also happens when you close a game and there is card drops available
Happens with SoulCalibur 6 as well, not every time but it's happened most of the time.

I have a 240gb OS drive, 1tb internal files/steam games drive, a 2tb external drive and a 4tb backups drive..... If I go for a 512gb and 2tb internal SSD and HDD... Oh boy, I'm gonna have to change my backup scheme a lot. Do able but things to think about.

The list is dumb not because those games listed are on there but because Flappybird, Kim Kardashian and others are on the list. Even in the quote for Kim Kardashian IAP game they say "It made $1.6M in 5 days!" How does that make it the best game of the decade? Congrats, you got children to spend their parents money on IAP! Flappybird is just a clone of a game that has been around for decades and it isnt even a good game at that. Like, there is not one person at Polygon or in the world who thinks Flappy Bird or Kim Kardashian is a top 100 game of the decade so why are they are on the list other than to generate hits? No, seriously, I didn't read the list but you really don't give me any desire to anymore.
This is precisely why I don't care about media sites such as Polygon or any of the articles they shit out. There must be money in it and more money than they lose from people that don't visit them because they see right through them. All in all I feel bad that there is money to be made this way because it means there are more people that don't think about what they read than people that do wonder what the agenda is when they read things.

From what little i remember the Kim Kardashian games were crazy popular across all ages not just young kids so i can see why it's included even if it didn't pierce our little bubble. I'm just glad that KRZ etc were even considered. I'll have to double-check to make sure SWERY is represented in there somewhere or the list is TRASH. At least Yoko Taro et.al have a showing with Automata.
So they put in a few "cultural moment"/"taking the temp" games. Ok. Doesn't make the list dumb and I have no problem with the inclusion of flappy bird and Kim Kardashian's games. You can't have a "best of" games list and specifically exclude certain catagories of games. In this case "meme" games like flappy bird and mobile FTP in Kim Kardisian's game.

Its all cost to benefit. In 2015 I spent $300 to take a system that didn't support SATA 3.0/USB 3.0 into the semi modern era and get the 2GB of vram that I needed for Witcher 3, Fallout 4 and a number of other games.That could explains why you play on console !
I saw the writing on the wall in 2017 and with a $100 giftcard I got a PS4 for $150 to cross the bridge to get Cyberpunk 2077 (and exclusives).
