Project IGI wasn't the highest budget most polished game but back then it seemed like some MGSV: Ground Zeroes shit. Or I guess Goldeneye 64 style in much larger scale and open maps. I hope they do the concept justice, first person stealth action is the best. Year 2000 folks:
There was some indie spiritual successor recently but it turned out pretty awful from what I've seen, hopefully this is better.

A decade ago I would've killed for this stupid game. I spent several days visiting blockbusters and similar chasing down copies of the old Xbox games that were compatible with the 360 just so I could have them. Copies I still have for some godforsaken reason. (I think I still also have a CD with the og PC RTS game).
I mean, we already know what this game is. An awful 6y/o+ P2W korean MMO variant that's nothing like the original and Crusaders. But I still have to see it.

Disco Elysium is extremly captivating. Very hard to stop playing the game.

So to my point yesterday about Arkham City having too much content. I have played about 20 hours and it says I am 38% complete. I will say they really cram a lot of cool locations and characters into this game. You go from Ivy to Mr Freeze to Penguin to Raj al Guul (sp?) ect. And I know little of batman outside of all the movies but the location Old Word? the city underground that looks like it was right out of Bioshock. was sweet!
No the PC version was missing no DLC, it just took a while initially for SEGA after launch release the remainder of the DLC

It's VR only. The game will be playable on all SteamVR supported headsets.
An earlier rumor is also that some people have already seen the game, it's almost complete and the game was one of the main reasons Oculus made Oculus Link so Quest owners also can play the game if they have a PC for it.
Of course, it's all just rumors, but it's from Valve News network, so some of it might be true.
One thing is for sure: do not expect the game to be playable without VR.
As far as I know "Valve News Network" is just a guy on Youtube speculating.

Also, I don't see how the game can be played without VR if it's built from the ground up for VR. Wouldn't Valve need to make 2 different versions of the same game? Like how Astrobot was built for VR.

I don't really see it releasing this year, but on the other hand, I'm convinced that when they announce it it will release relatively soon after.
Valve is only ever going to announce anything if they know with almost absolute certainty when they can ship it.
VNN might have been bad a few years ago (didn't watch him back then), but according to an ex-Valve employee on Era, he is usually spot on these days.
Im curious about the Quest part, since the Quest has a port in it, and that port is where the Link will be connected to correct? Does that port serve another purpose?
Because if Facebook went out of their way just to add that (assuming it was not planned from the start and they just needed more time to make it) then the game must be very special.

Either way depending on how good the game is I guess we will be seeing a increase in people buying HMDs just to play the game (and just in time for the holidays as well when devs have mentioned an increase in sales)

HLVR is SteamVR exclusive. It will also require precise motion controller tracking and roomscale (obviously), so no PSVR support.
