Nah.... I can wait. Haven't been in the business of that kind of thing since like 2011, after I had to reformat my HDD for the second time in two years due to that shit.
I download them, but keep delaying playing the games until they are on Steam. Like, I downloaded What The Golf which releases 1st october from igg-games, but will just keep delaying playing it until it's on Steam.

I have no idea why Im doing it that way.

It is, of course, out of an abundence of respect for our lord and savior Gaben.

Killed some archers in a browser game. Got this key:

[Hidden content]

I have no idea what it is. Probably something from an old bundle everyone here already owns.
It was Multiwina! I remember this from the old days. Never got it. Thank you!!!!

I am not sure how many of you follow Wario64

So on Walmart there was this error, FE 3H cost $25 USD and was listed as a bundle with the game and the DLC (normally something like $85 USD for the bundle). I guess some people were able to contact Nintendo and were able to get the game even though the listing was really just for the DLC. Which lead to people buying the bundle with the hopes that they would get the game and the DLC for just $25 USD!!!!

So what happened in the end, well Walmart gave people refunds and were able to keep the DLC codes. People did not get the game itself but did get the DLC (some might have been able to get the base game but I'm guessing that after Nintendo caught wind of what was happening they stopped helping people with the issue).

I did not do this since I thought it would be too much of a hassle just to get the game when I already have it digitally. I did not have the DLC so even if I didn't get the game I would have had the DLC...... and I guess it turns out that I could have gotten the DLC for free............ welp

Nice, small mode was all I ever used when not looking to buy a game. I was extremely surprised when they took it off, felt like an oversight (especially with that shortcut people could use to get it back, lol). Maybe it was since it seemed the left side of the panel in normal view was basically a functional small mode itself.

Hope it gets out of beta soon, I don't really care to test stuff :x

Yeah not a Steam game this is where we talk about everything anyway. This looks funny and fun in that Overcooked fashion (+ crazy taxi), co-op paramedics.

I finished outer worlds the other day. After thinking about it some more nothing's changed, it's still a bad game and probably the biggest disappointment of the year for me. Some of the problems can be filed under a really low budget but there's no reason the game had to be as poorly balanced as it is. This has been a pattern for Obsidian for years now. South park was one of the worst balanced RPGs I've ever played (also keep in mind that was pretty much obsidian's main job on the game since matt and trey were writing everything) and pillars had some notable balancing problems at launch too, though nowhere near as flawed as south park and outer worlds are.

Tiny areas, limited writing (due to voice acting everything) and skill checks, and poor graphics and performance can be excused with a criminally low budget. But there is a clear pattern of poor design and balancing that Obsidian has shown for the better part of this decade and it's concerning for future games.

Does anyone know to prevent Steam client freezing upon launch? Ever since new library update it has been hanging frequently, but today the damn thing has not been working for more than 3 hours. Something is wrong when stupid Epic client has better "functionality" (at least it works).

It's always running for me and I never had it freeze.

Huh. Seemingly out of nowhere, the kickstarter for Vertebreaker was canceled.

Says they'll have news about why later.

On its own it doesn't look like something EGS would care to acquire, but with thinking that it's from the Sonic Mania dev who worked with SEGA, maybe.

My personal bet? SEGA probably will fund the project as an external project from the team. but we will see.

Pistol Whip is intense as hell, I played like an hour yesterday and was mind blowing, if you have a VR headset and you like rhythm games, Pistol Whip is a must have.... and speaking of must have.... BONEWORKS IS COMING!

If a game from a traitor pub comes to Steam I assume the devs are cool dudes who hate Timmy as much as me and fought tooth and nail for their freedom. One of the rare cases I'll accept the 'but think of the devs' rhetoric while of course being fully aware some money goes to the traitors.
Perhaps this is the best thing to do, since you're also giving a signal to raw Fury that you are willing to buy their games if they aren't EGS exclusive. I don't know. I guess publishers only see financial results and don't really care if people play their games or not.

getting strong Earthworm Jim vibes (artstyle-wise) from this one ... love it! :)

that's capitalism for ya ... they don't care what you think about them as long as you give them money ...

it's the same way on youtube for example - likes and dislikes don't mean SHIT ... they are both seen the same exact way by The Algorithm™ - it's all engagement

Tomorrow will be in my hands once it's on Steam and a good price, I'm curious about the game but not excited at all and tbh, I don't really care about the game that much, yet, I will play it someday. THAT SAID...

Enjoy, Hektor :D

Well, maybe it's not a new competitor but a bridge that connects all services (now that Bridges are hot topic wink wink) :coffee-blob: :coffee-blob: :coffee-blob:

How do you guys feel about the "You have played game for x hours, do you want to write a review?" prompt in the new libary?
I think it might work on me :thinking-face:
I think having it directly there after finishing a game makes me more likely to use it instead of having to go to the store page specifically.

I just dismiss it to be honest. When i'm put on the spot like that then all i can think of is something trite and worthless like "It's good." I'm glad it's there to prod people into writing more reviews but i doubt it'll encourage me. I've put up like 5 reviews in... 15 years?
