What's the consensus on State of Decay? Every same I add it to the cart but inevitably end up removing it. Right now it's pretty cheap on HB but it's not really a question of how expensive it is and more if it's worth the time investment.

Curious about this as well, especially with the news that the sequel coming to Steam next year. Although at this price even if I don't like it I'm not gonna feel too bad about it, so I'll likely just grab it anyway.

Gabe took the "ban all anime" meme too seriously.
On the contrary, the bans overwhelmingly seem to be targeting non-anime games.

That's right, anime-haters, Gabe is ours now:

Love Live was a mistake

All hail idolm@ster!!!

Gabe likes anime, it's Sony that hates anime. After all the Steam releases of games are uncensored....for the most part (I swear they are over the age of 18 Gaben don't ban us)

But ya a H game was one of the top played games this time around. I tried it, it was okay. The management aspect was okay but there was not really much you could do with it. In some other games they make the management part more engaging.

H games are not always about the freking, the map for the game was sort of impressive, they did want to add different biomes, the backgrounds can look dull but I do like the design and how it does feel like a fantasy world.

There did not really seem to be much of a story or anything like character progression. I did like some of the character designs but the animations were sort of meh.

That is all

I review H games from time to time

I bought State of Decay YOSE a few years a go for a few bucks or so, but I still haven't played it. I guess I should one of these days.

God is real. This is one of my most wanted features.

For the life of me I can't remember why I have a copy for State of Decay when I don't really play zombie games. Consequently, I'm giving away the gift copy of the Year-One, so just quote me or whatever and I'll gift it to your Steam account. :dana_wink:

Is the game good?

And puf, just like that Valve removed almost 1000 games. The funny thing is there were some games on that list that i wanted to try.

Any supposed reason behind the bans ? I mean I would still wonder if we were talking about one game, but for several hundreds, there must be an obvious one ?

Bah, was playing Rage 2 on Xbox One X and the thing crashed. And I read that crashes are pretty much common so I guess I'll call it quits.

I am assuming quake 1 relies on having a proper ogg or vorbis codec it can read or interact with in order to properly play the music
While i do have a particular codec pack installed i do not think quake is properly utilizing it so i will need to tinker with my codecs and see if itll recognize the files eventually

I think the codec library is included in the vkQuake. I don't have any separate codecs installed on my Windows 10 and it played the music ok. Both on the demo and in-game (tried first level).

It's "funny" to see that a lot of people don't realize that Ban-waves happen all weeks between Monday and Thursday but usually takes down about 4 devs and 20 games in total, this one is special because it looks like Valve has been doing some research to see if those "devs" were abusing the system ans surprise, they did (even then most of those devs are the same person, so yeah)

anyway, most (if not all) are games that usually get into libraries via bundles, that's their main revenue source.

I didn't know that. I was one of these people :suicide-blob:

Some of the games were on my wishlist. Failed State, Space Komandirovka, Aurora RL, Detective Noir, ....
Strange....

I had Failed State in wishlist too, and I hesitated a few times to get Aurora RL in the past. If (as seen on PCGamesN) it's about "abusing Steamworks", It could be the whole lot from the same publisher that got banned, no quality distinction.

Failed State was that survival horror pixel art game with the girl, wasn’t it?

That actually looked very cool... sorry to see it go. I wonder how they abused Valve system...

How does it work if you purchased one of those games? You lose your money? Do they stay available in your library?

Yep, Failed State was that pixel survival horror game.

If you bought any of the now removed games you keep them in your library. I bought Midsommer Night (also removed) a while ago and it is still in my library.

Hmm could you link to the actual trakc that plays in the first level please?
Also vkquake doesn't seem to run the playdemo demo1.dem for some reason >_>;;;

Also the rating is now Very Positive.

Huh yeah that is the ambient music that plays. So Quake's soundtrack is mostly ambient style music?
