It's very funny and cool to see Steam Input API and DS4Windows competing to get the better support for Dualsense first
I hope Hades is gonna win GOTY at TGA, but TLOU2 is something that is simply too big to fail at the moment, even if it's not the best game of the year by a long shot.

Don't underestimate how lazy companies can be, or at least I could see Sony taking years to get around to that.
I can see the scenario where Sony isn't doing that just to make PS5 versions of games slightly more "unique".
True but in the meantime we have two open source projects giving support, one from a big distributor and the other from the community itself, I still think it's an amazing thing to see.

Pondering going xbox controller with rechargeable batteries instead of play & charge.
I have no use for this type of batteries in a rechargeable form except for the pad, which will feel odd and add clutter in my home.
Then again, I can't deny that in my experience the old Xbox pad was far lighter with batteries than with the kit. It was very pleasant.

Some of the boss fights, vehicle sections and levels against the Flood will test your patience. Also, any level with Jackal snipers. I swear, the Covenant could've won just by pumping up their Jackal numbers. Hell, give them some active camo to have it over and done with in an afternoon.

You can use any USB-C cable to use it on your PC. Doesn’t matter if it is A or C as long as it has one C for the controller
The technology in Chile is soo expensive, at least xbox series x is more cheap(at least 100 usd) that the ps5. The gpu market is insane, not sure if i will upgrade my gpu because the prices are insane.
Yep. Anyone decrying regional pricing as "publishers protecting their interests" and "they don't need games because they are luxury products" has never seen or experienced what it is for a good to be priced like this, for entertainment to be out of reach like some luxury product while people look down their nose at you.
Argentina, among many, many others, is a place that has fallen on hard times and I'm glad to see the gaming media finally pick up on the regional pricing obscenity and how DRM is instrumental in completely denying people in those countries any recourse for entertainment and art.

i imagine it's more or less the same now with how pretty much all big publishers have been handling regional pricing for Argentina on steam for a good while now
You can just plug it in, the kit isn't needed.
The controller itself is USB-C, you can either use an USB-A to USB-C or an USB-C to USB-C cable.
There was no cable included for me.
Tip: Download the Xbox Accessorizes app. There is a Firmware Update for the controller.

On the positive side of not being able to get a PS5 this year:
I thought for myself "Well back to PC gaming" after I missed all the shots for a PS5, but I realize that DeS is the only game I would have gotten asap, so when I had finished DeS the console would dust down again until Miles and Sackboy went on sale or Ratchet releases.
I guess having a massive PC backlog is a good thing during these times. Helpes me cope with the lack of PS5.
- Makes me have to wait to get Demon's Souls, meaning by the time the console is in stock a PC version may be announced or heavily rumored
- Less chance of launch problems
- PS5 games will be on more sales next year (I hope at least)

That's already done, I think. Several times in this very thread, even.
I must admit that my attraction to shiny new things has been severely tested now and then over the last few months but i have PC/Switch/PS4 backlog to go through and the PS5 doesn't do 1440 so it would probably look a bit off on my monitor and i'm not getting a new 4k TV & AV Receiver just for the PS5.
The fact it's a total crapshoot if anywhere actually has any in stock also makes more sense for me to wait until next year. More games, bugs and performance ironed out in both games and console etc. It's a shame the launch line-up for both MS & Sony didn't really excite me and by shame i mean, thank god, or i'd have been suffering massive FOMO right now

Yep so many bs curators solely used to farm free games and then trade them for others to resell on grey market reseller sites etc... So many have thousands of followers but less traffic than mine. The Humble gift crack down has put a large hole in that market. Most of the complainers were people buying these, not from Steamgifts or friends.
I only played 2 of them, and one of them was TLOU2, and that was overrated af.

Sony releasing their big guns on PC....No one would have ever seen that coming.
With allegedly so many PS4 SIE games in route to PC, I can only wonder how many will be announced at once unless they spread those 6-7 games over 5 years or something.
I still think they are gearing for a Sony PS Store announcement with a strong launch lineup.
It's inevitable at some point if they keep releasing their games on PC. They need their own digital space.
It could very well be years away, I'm just speculating.
Why is that? Blizzard/Activision is pretty much the only publisher left that's releasing games only on their own launcher.
Also a new Onimusha confirmed. I think someone here mentioned that it was under dev before.
