Destiny 2 is gonna make it way more easier to wait for Blands 3 to hit Steam. So much content just by playing the f2p version.

Say what you want about Destiny 2, but the gunplay is amazing and Bungie's split from Acti should only be a good thing.

It was kind of competing for banner time with the THQ weekend lol, sometimes the THQ banner would show up, sometimes Code Vein

It's also going to make it way more easier to just forget Blands 3 exists and keep playing Destiny 2 instead

Destiny has much much better gunplay however borderlands has much much better loot. Sadly they are not the same :(

You know what ? I love Souls like. And I hate Souls like. It's something I wanted to say for some days, come clean, surrender my gamer card.

I love that they offer a more punishing experience. I find that is an important, if not essential, part in making the feeling of exploration, of adventure, credible. Every steps counts, be on your toes, oh shiny treasures, hey a short-cut. The perfect formula to have a good dungeon-crawling feel, maybe.

I hate that they offer a more punishing experience. I signed for a crawl, not a 1 on 1 fighting game where for every boss I have to up my footsies game or die pathetically in 15 seconds.

But who am I kidding, this feeling of adventure when I'm not being pounced into the ground by an oversized truck...

Don't worry, because you'll get an answer regardless :p

Digimon is this:

for example.

Comparable to Pokemon in the sense that it's monsters that can evolve into other monsters, but it goes for a completely different style.
The animes back then where really good (and still are) with killer soundtracks among other things.

It has a bunch differenent games with different styles, but they were all on Sony or Nintendo system.
Cyber Sleuth is the first one to come to PC. As far as I know it's Persona + Monsters catching/training.

Next year we'll get Digimon Survive, which is Visual Novel with lots of branching paths + Tactic RPG (á la Devil Survivor, FF Tactics)

Souls-like is such a weird phrase that people use for everything now. Like The Surge is a "souls-like", Dead Cells is a "souls-like" but shouldn't Monster Hunter be a "souls-like"? As its combat is the most similar to Dark Souls out of the 3?

But I agree, I prefer non souls-like. I havent played Darksiders 3 as I am told it is not like the past 2 which I loved but it is now a "souls-like".

It is a two-step lootbox system.

First, use the (free) scanner to see the item.

Second, use a (paid) key to accept to receive the item. Only then are you allowed to scan another box "for free".

I don't feel like The Surge is so dissimilar. It tries to add new things to the combat mechanics, but eh, kinda feel at home :thinking-face:
I should restart MHW on PC, not enough hours in the day !

Yeah, I mean, I really don't see it helping as it gives people less time to notice your game on the platform, but B.Namco sure thinks it works for them.

Theory from my rear side, but wouldn't the lack of store page until the last minute be explained by some console focused Japanese publisher mentality, where it would be more interesting for them that people buy their game full price on console than at a discount on PC, maximizing profit ?
Because I'm not sure you can file not putting a store page until the very last minute under incompetence, there must be more to it.

I partly think they have no idea what they're doing. Remember when they asked people to preorder the game on PC & Switch checks notes over 3 months ago?

Well, Osiris and Warmind were the first two DLC, and are included in the base Destiny 2 game now, so free.
But yeah, there is also Forsaken annual pass. Not sure what it includes.
