Control has been 'controlled'.
Thoughts: The best gameplay from Remedy since Max Payne 2. Beautiful game, with some technical hiccups on PS4. Its not too short, even playing the way I didn, sprinting through the main story. There are a lot of optional quests, however during the main story there isn't any compelling reason to do them, as long as the mystery is left unsolved. Once the main story is complete, then it makes absolute perfect sense that you do all of the side quests.
Spoiler thoughts: I may have been spoiled by my long time reading of a good portion of the SPC foundation entries. I expect the mind fuck at this point and I've had to wrap my mind around a lot of twisted shit. For someone who isn't exposed to this kind of horror/sci-fi, it'd be like a more coherent Bioshock. To me, just another containment breach. I was surprised at some of the reveals, such as Darling ascending to another dimension and the existence of Herdon. Others, like the Janitor being an extradimensional entity, the hiss coming from another dimension, the director having gone rogue, evil brother I saw before I even started the first mission. I'll say this, I'd love to spend more time in the world and I am looking forward to playing the expansions. Just not at $60 and the additional cost of the expansions.
