Well you guys did say something was going to happen this week, EVERYONE being unhappy about Death Stranding news is quite big. Sony fans because it's coming to PC and everyone else because it's EGS.XD
On a much nicer note, found out that running Outer Worlds in high res but lower rendering res is super good! I get it to run smooth and don't have to have super big blurry interface!

This is going to get lost after the Death Stranding news, but I'm really happy about it. The game was a bit rough in some spots because of the limited budget but I really want more like it (and Outer Worlds, still haven't played Disco) instead of the by the numbers made to be GaaS that is all we are going to get from the "big" guys.
These days I think the hardest part of this hobby is the GaaS shit and reading the opinions from developers... and their contempt for their customers.

How much would Sweeney dish out for a game that is not new? It may not be worth it for them and at worst it will probably be a 30 day thing like RDR2.
They did take Tetris Effect which wasn't new but that was a UE game.

Oh well, late port exclusivity is whatever, what's an extra year when I'm waiting an extra 6+ months already? At least I get to laugh at Sony fanboys losing their shit over this, kinda worth.
So as recommended last week I started my journey down the Arkham series with Asylum and it was very good! Probably the closest thing to a 3D metroidvania that exists. Just need to finish up collecting all the riddler thingys I am at like 85% now. My one complaint is the damn "bullet sponge" (fist sponge) enemies which is only an issue in the few points in the game where they throw 20+ enemies at you and you spend 20 minutes fighting and hope you dont get stunlocked. I played on hard so this may not be an issue if I played on normal. Overall, well worth the hype at the time. On to City next.
this Death Stranding saga has been so stupid. I know it's probably a sony marketing deal or whatever but it would have been nice if companies could be upfront about where i can play your stupid game.

glad you're enjoying it as well Man, I regret buying a PS4 this gen because all games I'm interested in were or became multiplatform anyway. Not gonna get next gen consoles anytime soon

It's interesting to compare Disco Elysium to The Outer Worlds in how they handle their political message. The former is a lot (a lot) more serious and nuanced (while still poking fun at many concepts), while the latter mostly plays it for comedic effect. Well, at least from what I've played of TOW so far.
