Edit : Also, I can't resist geeking out about a small thing in Star Citizen. There's an event requiring you to land on a specific asteroid to get a helmet nobody cares about. I tried it and, the thing really makes the sense of scale hit home. You need to triangulate a position down to the hundred of meters to find an asteroid, and even looking directly at it, I struggled to find the thing I was looking for.
The target is about 50 meters across. The kilometer-wide asteroid itself is something like a dozen pixels large until you are within seconds of it. It's really something to land there and see the whole belt surrounding a small moon. Slightly zen and awe-inspiring experience.
Edit² : While I'm at it, this is the kind of gross I can get behind. This is a rather bad take but a part of me is thinking that this is what I wanted Doom Eternal to be, to some level. You people playing it are lucky

It is stupidly fun. I requested beta access based on recommendations here, and it only took a couple of weeks to get in -- it's going to be a must buy when it releases, I think. It just feels great to play. At times, there's so much blood flying everywhere that I couldn't see anything and got totally disoriented. yeah, the gore is a bit too much over the top (it ends up affecting the gameplay) and I'm not the biggest fan of aiming down sights or reloading in this kind of game, but otherwise I had a ton of fun playing custom maps in the playtest. Definitely picking it up when it launches in EA in November.

Reminds me how Rage 2 on Gamepass is still not compatible with the Gamebar ( where you see stuff like achievements and screenshots).. It minimises the game when you try to open it while in-game.

Im guessing that there is actually a lot more that i could have done (exploring/hidden bosses etc) but ive really enjoyed it and it feels good to finish.

Either or may take a year or two or it may not happen at all. I'm guessing that Oceanhorn one did really well on N/S. And the devs more or less mentions that this game is "perfect" for N/S. Seeing how the only other place to get it is on Apple Arcade that might make sense (is there a Mac OS version? Or just iOS?)No PC?
Also I can't remember if it was posted on here but the whole Oculus Facebook thing for people that have had an Oculus account for years but never had a Facebook one before sucks. In case your wondering what that's about it would seem that if you make a Facebook account your account gets flagged and well you lose access to all your games.
I guess the logic is this. Oh you have an Oculus account? Then you clearly must have a FB account as well, everyone and their grandparents have a FB account (hell even children have a FB account, well years before that might have been the case but maybe not to much now that Facebook has this image of it being what older people use type of a thing). And if you don't have a FB account after all of these years then that seems very suspicious. Which I guess yeah that can seem suspicious.
Also people mentioned just to make a throw away account and stuff like that but some of those accounts got banned and can also very easily get banned as well. I'm guessing that there are some people like game devs and stuff that may not be paying attention to that.
Also the Oneechabra game is out and has mixed reviews.
I was able to get the Sonic Drop. I wish that Valve talked more about how drops work. This is pretty cool and I hope that more devs use it but that they also talk about when drops happen so people don't waste their time. Fall Guys had a drop a few weeks ago that I thought was still going. The profile background from SEGA sadly looks sort of low quality compared to some of the other just static backgrounds that other devs make but maybe that's because it was designed with 1080p in mind.
Seems some of the former Sega Studios Australia devs are not at all happy about the release of the Golden Axed prototype. Thread
