I hope P5 Tactica is good.
I think it will be but I'm looking forward to hearing impressions.

I'm going to be honest I am looking at Hulu (US) and they have a decent anime line up. They have a good mix of old stuff (from 1999-2014 to more modern stuff 2019-2023, some of their audience being teenager to those in their 20s.

It is sad (this doesn't only apply to anime but also to video games) with how a lot of people mainly only talk about newer stuff but there are still things that are easily obtainable that are older that people don't seem to pay attention to. I'm actually surprised that I have seen as much Nana stuff as I have (considering how old it is)

PS I really need to find a place were I can find news and stuff, I did not even realize that the second season of the Devil is a part timer already released (is it any good? I found the first season very funny when I watched it years ago)

I finally finished watching Cyberpunk Edgerunners. I liked it.

I recently started to read the Deadbeat Noble and it is something. I like it, the art could be better but its decent enough, I do like the story and how MC is not OP right off the bat. I also do like how it feels different compared to a lot of stories (in a way it's simplified). At one point some one ask Mc, why are you doing this and the MC response with him not really sure as to why (which is crazy to me just because of insanely relatable that is. An easy way to describe this was be asking any one in college "why are you studying to get a degree? And I can 100% guarantee that a big portion of them will tell you something like "I don't know, it seemed like a good idea to get a good paying job" and you will get a small amount that say "it's my dream or I'm doing this for some one else sale", I'm sure that there are people like that but percentage wise I don't you are looking at 70% of students thinking like that or something.

Just some stuff I found interesting.

I've been playing lewd games and let me tell you some of them are something else. Some of them are rather simple and others are full on complex.

Please keep making these threads. They are quite enjoyable, at least when you aren't able to respond. ;)

By the way, wasn't Railgrade fully funded and published by Epic? It was released on Steam last week. Pretty sure Remedy will release AW 2 on Steam as well after a few years.

Not fully but partially, they were going to be published by irregular corporation and Epic funded the last few bits of the game.

Also yes, AW2 will likely end up on steam after a few years.

I think it’ll be fine.

It’s not gonna be as good as P5/R or P5S, but I think it’ll be a fun sideshow like the Q games on 3DS.

Speaking of, I hope Atlus brings the Q games to PC. Might be an opportunity to finally dub Q2, which felt like it was missing something for me because the battle banter wasn’t subbed in the English release (plus I think the P5 localisations are generally good anyway).

Might also be good to take the time to redub Q1 with the new P3 cast.

I still stand by my prediction that Remedy will publish AW2 on Steam as different SKU (Complete Edition or Remaster).
I think this is a possibility. In the past we’ve seen games under one publisher become self-published by the original developer or under a new publisher by making it a technically different version of the game.

Hasn’t happened recently, but it’d be neat to see it happen to a bunch of Epic-cursed games.

Im mostly worried that Alan Wake 2 won't even be good. Hopefully my worried are unfounded, I did love Control.
It depends what they were focused on. Overall Control was their worst game to me. Story was basically non existent unless you go and read all of those documents (and I don't want to read 100s of documents in video game), gameplay was kinda limited because you couldn't swap all possible weapons on the fly just 3, enemy variety was poor (you saw basically everything after few hours). They put way more interesting things in those documents instead of game (like some boss battles).

ABSOLUTELY, they confirmed DLC so if it's coming to Steam, it will be like Control, Complete Edition with all content.

But that is only if Epic gets their money back and they switch to 50:50 share I think.

To my Control is their best game by far, with the strongest writing and gameplay. Most fun I had in a Remedy game ever. Once you unlock all abilities, Jesse really becomes a god-like figure.

I enjoyed Control, was a chill game, fun mechanics, fun story. I have Qauntum Break installed and need to play it.
Control was awesome. Only other Remedy game I’ve been able to finish was Alan Wake on Xbox 360.
Agree, Control was very solid. The only thing I felt it was lacking was map variety. Quantum Break was enjoyable too, Remedy focused a lot on explaining how the time travel mechanics worked and I think to some degree it had the most reasonable time travel mechanics I have seen in any medium.

Friendly reminder, one of the great games of this month releases this week in just three days.

I could see idiots complaining about it more, since it's not something you can choose not to see (well, unless you kill the character of course)

I'm in it for the gameplay since I like tactical RPGs, but the story looks like it follows the exact same beats as every other Persona spinoff. I'm not feeling P5T or P3R much at all. At least there's Unicorn Overlord and Metaphor to look forward to from the Atlus front.

ah… Shadowhearts a franchise name I didn’t read for a long time. For a moment I thought a new kouldelka entry was a thing.

Yeah gameplay wise I enjoyed Control much better than Quantum Break and Alan Wake but man you spend way too much time in an office building in Control.

Dismissing the Oldest House as simply an "office building" seems weird to me, unless you find extreme brutalist architecture, and all kinds of horrors you see throughout your time there as emblematic of normal office buildings you see in your daily life. And if so, I really have some questions (assuming you are legally allowed to answer them).

It is possible, according to the synopsis, reminds me a lot of the typical battle royale japanese movie (Joker Game, The Werewolf Game, Friend Game, Liar Liar, etc...). It especially reminds me of what was proposed in 2016 movie Cinderella Game.

I mean it certainly was an interesting office building but I just wish there was some more time spent outside the Oldest House.

I know you're kidding, but I've never understood why this is a such a massive deal to lots of people. I don't care what colour or gender a game's character is, as long as the game is good.
Some people have so much spare time they use their time on such things.

These are the same people who keeps complaining about politics in games, movies and TV shows.

Me looking at Spidey 2 review scores:

Me looking at Dave the Diver, Mario Wonder, AW2, BG3 and a dozens other that I own that I need to finish/play:

Feel Im happy that 2024 is quite empty outside of FF Rebirth.

Yeah, it’s a good sequel. It doesn’t get anywhere near as good as the original game, but if you want another Phantom Thieves adventure it really scratches that itch.

P5S is great because it picks up right after P5 ending so you have a whole game dedicated to phantom thieves adventures on a trip since all characters have been introduced.
The game also adapts really well the summoning demon system despite its musou nature.
The new characters are also cool.

I had a really great time with it, it really feels like it's P5 2, just in a different genre

Cities: Skylines II is a next-gen title, and naturally, it demands certain hardware requirements. With that said, while our team has worked tirelessly to deliver the best experience possible, we have not achieved the benchmark we targeted.
