Anti-Lag controls the pace of the CPU work to make sure it doesn't get too far ahead of the GPU, reducing the amount of CPU work queued up. With AMD Radeon™ Anti-Lag+, applying frame alignment within the game code itself, allowing for a better frame syncing which leads to even lower latency and great gaming experiences.
"

So nobody at AMD did think this could cause anti-cheats to flag?

Another nice bundle!
They've been really killing it with the regular bundles lately.
I've already finished Unsighted and Moonscars from the Awesome Indies bundle (had a very good time with both) and there are plenty more, this one also has a bunch of stuff I want

Just complete clown shit from AMD. I want to say this is lesson learned for them, but they'll somehow fuck it up again.

Maybe microsoft will go through activisions game catalogue and realize they own more than 8 game franchises/titles than the like handful they showed in that trailer.

Revive the ones they fucking abandoned. Activision has/owns so many IPs that are sitting dead I mean jesus christ

I do find it funny when Valve tech, gets used in an enterprise state even though it wasn't originally designed for that purpose.

Another example that I can think of is in the past a number of different tech companies would use the Valve Index as part of a demonstration

For all we know the US government has a bunch of Steam Controllers some were that they are using for a secret project. Woolie, and Super Best Friends can eat their words about what they said about the Steam Controllers. The future is now old men.

Amazing. I ultimately hope for AMD to be competitive but they've basically blacklisted AMD GPU hardware - and maybe even CPU hardware by association - for anyone wanting to buy or build a gaming PC for competitive games. Incredible.

I don't see why people are so angry about AMD. Sure, today it's a mess but once they perfect this and you have an AMD CPU and GPU, you can have undetectable driver level cheats in all games. People will buy amd in droves

Unless the new PlayStation CEO can turn around and say to shareholders that their PC ports have negatively impacted PlayStation to the point where they'd make more money by not releasing them on PC (a proposition that's pure fantasy, by the way) then the new CEO would need to have rocks for brains to stop doing PC ports.

If anything, they may decide to be more bullish on their PC releases and shorten the wait on a few to see how that impacts the bottom line.

And that's just ignoring the wider strategy that PC is about hedging bets in a rapidly shifting environment. Nobody wants to be caught flat footed and it's never out of the realms of possibility that Sony may find themselves in a place where they need to go multiplatform. If they're in a place to just swing to that without much disruption it softens the blow in the extremely unlikely event (right now) that their console business goes belly up.

AMD has always been shit :negative-blob:
GPU? Yes a little. CPU? No, I have had a AMD CPU and will continue to recommend them over Intel CPUs.

Lisa Su has done an amazing job on the CPU front, before her it was basically Intel and they released overpriced shit because there was no competition. Just need the GPU division to get their shit together and give NVDA some competition.

Anyone gotten Days Gone to feel good to play on the deck? I kind of hate the controls, like it’s 10fps but actually is around 40 without vsynch. Is it the game or am I missing a setting?

I finished Lies of P. It's probably the best not-From soulslike I've ever played, but it does have some major issues, most notably boring itemization, overly linear level design and some very iffy bosses. Seriously Neowiz, you can cut down on the number of bosses that have two phases. Still pretty good, but the second half was starting to get on my nerves and at some point I just wanted to finish it.

I bought an AMD GPU about a decade ago that would randomly blue screen. It was a truly awful experience that made me swear them off for the rest of my life.

Before Jim Ryan I know that the other dude wanted to do PC ports. From my understanding some of that had to do with just how expensive AAA titles are. Only like 10% of PS users actually by Sony first party titles at most. The number doesn't really grow to insane numbers over the years and as times goes on players demand better and bigger games, which in turn take longer to make and cost even more money. So as time goes on you are making even less and less money, they have already changed this by charging more for games and also now releasing on PC.

As for PS5 vs PC, you do have those that will not buy a PS5 because it doesn't really have exclusive games and it's better to have a PC. But that's not everyone, much more casual people will be the ones that buy a PS5 rather than a PC. Since there are "no" exclusive games for the PS5, then are there perhaps others reasons that people should buy a PS5? I'd say the PS5 is a decent multimedia hub.

And you bought it

you bought it right?!

if the Nintendo ecosystem wasn't so terrible, I would. As someone who doesn't have Switch Online sub, there is only an inaccurate playtime tracker (even Ryujinx shows playtime in minutes) and showing friends what game I have played recently.

By the way I will have to soon look into a new USB cable or new pad. My P5R playthrough was full of controller connection lost and it happened on something else yesterday. Come to think of it the USB cable moves a little while plugged on the xbox pad side and I'm pretty sure it's the cause.

Which pisses me off because I have the same issue on ipad with the thunderbolt cable. So either I'm super unlucky (which Mivey can attest to) or build quality is taking a nosedive.

Don't know what to do yet.

not very smooth play on my PC but well is a win again for pirates, can be played nicely with a great pc. This happens always, pirates don't suffer denuvo, pirates don't suffer always online games (f.e. last crash 4 was unplayable the day launch cause Activision servers were offline while pirates could play the game without issues).
When a game is done should be released for everyone and not wait for stupid marketing releases dates. Super Mario and the new Sonic game can be played since yesterday and people who bought them have to wait, fuck the publishers.

before anybody says (I bought the game on switch too)
but this is a joke.

LRB1983 I don't really see issue here. As long as physical versions exist, which is a good thing (but less and less useful), you will have broken street dates.
Nintendo can't come and say, 'ok, some people got their game already, we advance the launch by one week'.

I mean, sure, they could make the digital version available now, but in a remote cabin in the boonies, some people without online would groan.
There is no winning, except dropping physical. And even then, I'm pretty certain publishers would still keep to a release date.

Pretty tempted to buy a chunky 4 to SSD.

Not even for my games, just to consolidate my data and send the HDDs to storage.

On the second level on the first world of Mario Wonder, yep, plays great and looks great still.

But I have committed to playing Dave the Diver atm, so Mario gotta wait.

So much to play atm, my current plan is Dave -> Mario Wonder > AW 2 > BG3

Well, depends if there are some suprised before BG3, like a game popping out of nowhere or a game reviewing better than expected.
