All this Cyberpunk talk reminds me that I need a new PC that will be up to the task. I hope this game delivers because this will destroy me financially ;-;

My best bet to play Cyberpunk is if they make an Switch port haha. Don't think my laptop will be able to handle it better than a switch port would.
Maybe Stadia would be a better solution for you, don't you think? if it's just for that game you can rent a month or two.

Reminder that the Power Rangers fighting game is based on the comic series.
It's why you got stuff like 'Mastadon Sentry' (military units powered by the Mastadon Power Coin), and why the Morphin' Yellow Ranger has this armor-

Yeah you are right! One of the reasons I'm actually quite hyped for Stadia. I realise how damaging it can be for the industry, but it will also enable me to play games I wouldn't be able to otherwise.

With that said, sadly I'm stuck with Starbucks internet so pretty sure gaming on Stadia is out for me.XD

So, what's the big deal with Cyberpunk not having third-person camera in cutscenes? Most immersive sims out there don't have it.
The problem with first person view is that the best games are all third person:coffee-blob:
Think about it: shotgun with legs running around making weird sounds - creepy af.

So you live near a Starbucks and get to use their Wifi for free all the time? Nice

Starbucks is quite alright if it's just black coffee you want, that's what I always get and they even have free refills. And I'm saying this as a coffee snob but trying out a lot of different places in Paris Starbucks is one of the better ones considering price and location.

So yesterday I claned my PC for dust and one of the case fans plugs got pulled out. I have never ever plugged/built a PC before (have always received helped from others), so yesterday I managed to plug in the case fan in the correct place after some Googling.

I might be ready to build my own PC in the future. It's just that all the cables and pins and stuff on the mobo is making me uneasy. I tried once a few years ago to build my PC, but looking at videos of how to isntall the CPU made it looks like a bomb defusal situation I see on TV shows.

Jesus Christ, can the games industry just stop for 5 minutes.
Games industry:

Then the games industry proceeds to complain about bad sales.

It's not my fault so many interesting games is being released daily and weekly and I only have a few hours a day which games, netflix, hbo, movies etc. fights about.

I've built my last 2 PCs. It can be terrifying(the CPU is the worst, probably), but if I can do it, anyone can.

Ditto. I have played all the Crash Bandicoot games, but only a demo of one of the Spyro games.
The remake of Crash Bandicoot was fantastic, so I am all in for the remake of Spyro by the same studio (Iron Galaxy).

Edit: This kind of demo.

I recently found two major web based computer retailers that offer to build computers according to your own specifications (receiving tips and recommendations if you choose something that won't work together) and I'm actually considering doing that instead of building my own computer from scratch. I've built one with help before, and performed several upgrades by myself.
Nothing is more nerve wrecking than working with a motherboard or placing a CPU. I managed to pull a CPU off together with the fan once and hade to bend the CPU pins back with a screwdriver. Granted, it worked out well, but the stress!!!

From what ive seen, Third person-stans are worse
I get the idea that this must be a big thing somewhere else, but here I didn't really see bad reactions. You shouldn't open those kind of threads on badly moderated places. Peace of mind.

Crash and Spyro where THE ICONS (and two historically very entwined franchises)

Everybody who likes 3D platformers should play them.

I hope now that they're done remaking the first 3 games of each franchsie and the most popular spinoff they'll move on to create something new for them.

Unless they want to remake Crash Twinsanity.

Oh shit, now i want a remake of Crash Twinsanity.

Pretty please?

It had an incredible and incredibly unique soundtrack in which every. single. instrument. was just a person pretending to be an instrument.

First one was pretty good for this kind of game. Will probably wait for it to finish Early Access.

They're collectathon adventure games with a focus on exploration, as well as some mini games.

I swear the Spyro track in Crash Team Racing is really pushing me towards getting this game. I may get it by month's end if not wait til a Steam sale >_<

I played the demo and I liked it. It touches sensitive themes, which are not often tackled in video games.

Edit: Embedded video found with the article.

I feel indies are, at least graphically, on fire these days. It's one stunning video game after another. Just rewatched the launch trailer for Knights and Bikes and it's so good.

Note for the people interested in Spyro that it's a bit less "platforming" than your average game in the genre, and more "running and gliding".
Spyro does not jump very high, and it's often an excuse to push you to find from where you have to glide/run from.

And it's pretty fun and unique, Spyro is pretty great.
Except the flying challenges.
Those can fuck off.

I'm definitely interested in Little Misfortune, but I didn't love Fran Bow... I tried to get through it, but after 2 hours or so I just found it tedious.

Spyro is one of those games you think you like until you play it again, the chasing gameplay is horrible and revisiting it was a bad idea for me.
At least Crash Bandicoot holds up even today.

Gotta agree Doom 2016 is fantastic, played it on Hard which I normally don't do, usually stick with Normal.

For all fo you MC, and Era, I play though Collapse.

Trust me when I say it ain't worth it. Enemies are mega tanky, there are companions whom you need to make sure don't die even if they help you against the tanky enemies AND there are 2 types of enemies; melee enemies are weak to melee weapon, otherwise they take low damage from bullets! The other type are weak to bullets but never bothered to try sword with and honestly didn't feel like I want to considering how tanky enemies are which makes missions a drag.
Doesn't help that the game keeps sending hordes of enemies at you wave after wave. See this is the kind of shit I avoid playing Uncharted for :V

However, I struggle through this for you and so that I can tell my successors; I have played eurojank. Not all of them, not necessasrily the best of them, but I play eurojank.

At least post apoc, xenomorph sewers infested Russia has some picturesque views

Okay both you guys and the media were not lying, Doom (2016) is amazing. Finally picked it up for a 5 spot this weekend and almost done the campaign. I love finding all the "secrets" in each level.
It sure is! I don't play first person shooters too often but that game was absolutely fantastic. Eternal can't release soon enough!

Doom 2016 made me appreciate First Person Shooters.
I got it to cleanse myself of the OK-ishness of Uncharted 4 and it just made me want to RIP AND TEAR, RIP AND TEAR, RIP AND TEAR!
