MonHun Stories on steam when?
Hey that would be cool, you have to do with the mobile version to get a decent experience (the 3DS one can't be emulated properly and probably will never be - it's a whole story).
It's definitely one of those games that came at the tail end of the Japanese console market sinking and everyone jumping on the handheld/mobile bandwagon...

Treated myself to a new keyboard with Silent Red switches and it feels so nice. Itching to type a lot of things.

Also picked up A Monster's Expedition. Looks cute and a regular guest from a podcast I listen to has written for it. Will play it after I am done with Demon's Souls and my Portal replay. Is probably the only game pickup for me until Yakuza 7 comes out that isn't a sale.

Post your keyboard in the hardware thread! I'm itching to get a red switch board as all my keyboards are browns or hybrids.
Post it!

Which version did you watch? There's so many of them now, ha!
The final cut. I knew nothing about the movie before watching it. It's a personal habit. Usually I don't even watch trailer before stepping inside theatre haha.
The first movie?
Yeah, first time watching it after all these years. Still a great watch! I really, really like the ending.

I'm no rush to watch blade runner 2049...until I rewatch my Bluray Blade runner again to get a better memory of the themes of the film.

I finally got Issac out of my system last night. It only took 3 hours, 12 runs culminating in an hour and a half run in hard mode in which I defeated
-Mom
-It Lives
-The Lamb
-Hush
-Delirium

(Yes a victory lap was used and it was GLORIOUS)

I need to post a picture of the build I got, it was god-like. A once in a hundred run, even accounting for the fact that on normal, I can make it to at least Issac/Satan around 80% of the time.

Too many games.

My 'free horror games' thread is still coming, haven't hit the right mood yet.

I am looking at Deep Rock Galactic with intense interest, but as someone without a huge online social circle, how is it solo? Is the community a piranha tank if you use matchmaking?

Ok im trying to get into Spelunky. Any tips appreciated.
Spelunky smells funky. Never liked it, so no tips.

Issac is better even though the game implies that he's a bed-wetter.

-Never played matchmaking, although I can see it being a HUGE problem it there is no communication/you run into a jerk. Teamwork is required. I'd try to play with fellow Meta members if I had to play with people I didn't know.
-The game is donkey doo-doo solo. Boring as heck. I tried playing it solo to catch up to my other DRG 'playmates' but after one short mission I was bored to tears.

I'm not great at it, but my main tip would be to take it slow and pay attention to your surroundings. Lots of avoidable deaths stem from not looking down off-screen drops (hold up or down for a second), not noticing traps, etc.

Now I wonder if we will get any PC news from Sony in a blog post after the PS5 showcase.

If Bloodborne, Sushi, TLOU etc. are at their last stages for PC, I wonder how long they will keep them a secret.

It looks like Albion is doing fine. I tried the mobile version a few months ago, it was surprisingly decent. It's a hassle to update the app through the website though, so I uninstalled it. When it's launched on Play Store I'll definitely give it another go.
Wow checking Steam today peak is around 12K Player. They have 90% of their player on pc using direct download.

Yooooo Sakura Wars theme in PSO2! They even run the main theme on the loop in the lobby, so hype.

Sakura Wars for PC confirmed. :coffee-blob:

Holy shit, and it's not just the main theme, Yume no Tsuzuki is also running!

Seems like the full track in the game. Full of nostalgia.

Nah, they really need to keep people excited for PS5.
I do not even think announcing PC games will cost them long term sells. But it will make people angry, provoke negative press etc. They can't afford that right now.

It's kind of made worse that in that toxic exclusive game, they don't have that much to show for the PS5 yet. So having the prior ones come to PC would undermine that tactic.

Not that I agree with any of it, but that's probably one of their views on it. There's also the fact that this is not going to get any better going forward. AAA games are harder than ever to make and 5+ years is in my opinion becoming the baseline now, not to mention the huge deviations that can happen with juggernauts attempting to do crazy things.

It's also heartening that indies and AA games are ever so increasingly important. They are first-class citizens now and given how little publishers are willing to risk while pushing GaaS models in format without capitalizing on its design (basically always-online), well, I'm glad gaming isn't waiting on them to deliver innovation.

I wonder if Playstation (like Shuhei and his indie team), Nintendo and MS uses Steam a lot to check out which indie game they wanna bring over.

With games like Among Us, Craftopia, Among Us etc. and tons more selling incredible (it seems at least), indie games will be more important than ever for the platform holders.

And it's a really good think that it is so easy and seamless to release games on Steam/PC as it means that indie devs will focus on PC before consoles and use PC user reviews on Steam to attract console companies.

We already have the dev(s) behind Lair of the Clockwork talking about how he/they used Steam reviews to "sell" the game to Nintendo.

Ghost of Tsushima being nearly done on PC would suggest it has been developped alongside the PS4 build all along. I know Queen has her sources but.......
You know. Perhaps her sources are not that great all the time

The rest of her list I can understand, especially Days Gone (Unreal 4).

Bloodborne on PC would be great already.

Check my earlier long post for some good tips if you're ok with not going in blind.
I always recommend carrying something.
Cheers. Yep carrying something is a good shout. Im making progress...

Unlocked the shortcut to the jungle stage. Im struggling with it though, those bloody tiki trap spiky totem pole things. I just dont have the quick timing to get out of the way. Curse getting old and slow.

Bu... bu... but PC gaming is dying because it's a hive of scum and villainy!
It's good to see the cycle continue (again) and Indie/Middle budget games finding a platform on PC and branching back to consoles now that AAA has become too big and spaced out to sustain itself. Of course the usual issues with a huge dynamic market exist with the main one being discoverability but many of my favourite games ever have been low/mid budget and full of charm, personality, fun and jank.

I guess that's why PC & Nintendo have been my staple gaming platforms for decades now.

Part of me really thinks tonight is the perfect night to announce BB Remastered, but at the same time I'm also kind of doubtful that Sony would announce anything remotely tied to PC at a PS5 event. Hopefully the leakers are on point and we see it really soon, because the clock is ticking if it's supposed to be a launch title.

They don't have to mention PC. It could be announced on PS5 on stage, then confirmed to land on PC through other channels.

Bloodborne Remastered is not all about PC. I'm sure Playstation players would be happy to replay it at 60fps.

I agree with you. They have to announce it someday, tonight would not be a bad place really.

Tomorrow is the day my wallet dies. :heroblob: Or my sanity (and a tad of my self-respect) if I need to spend more than 5 minutes to try and purchase a GPU.
Unless Jensen is planning to release only 100 3xxx gpus and not one more why the rush.

I thought you were talking about RTX 3080 benchmarks lol.
I'm in full "meh" category about PS5 currently.

Does it make any sense to announce a BB remaster in between the Demons' Souls remaster announcement and release?
Does it make any sense to release both of them at the same time?

I want to believe a pc release will happen, and sooner rather than latter, but I'm finding it hard to logically justify these moves by sony right now.
