MD? PhD? PsyD? DD?Pre-Doc (in the sense of working on my doctorate) Assistant, with time divided between research and teaching (well, mostly writing exercises, and exams (and correcting exams), besides a lot of the stuff the professor/post-doc lecturer doesn't have to do).
PhD in Computer Science. And yeah, the pay is clearly lower than what I'd get when working in corporate sector. I don't really mind though, I love what I do, people I'm working with are great and it's great to work on stuff you find fascinating (though teaching can be a bit annoying at times).MD? PhD? PsyD? I'm an educator; I teach 7th grade English.
Ah yes, there it is, the end of the honeymoon period with a new job. Realizing that despite all the upsides I have working in an office as opposed to physical labor, I'm ultimately a rat in a cage here, and they're watching me every second. Pardon me for being cordial towards an overly chatty coworker outside of a break period.
Despite all my rage... etc, and so forth.
Still love the job, but that's something I'll have to get used to. Yeesh. Used to working alone and sorta doing whatever tf I want. I'm a rodent. Praise buddha

Headed to MicroCenter today to snag a Logitech G602 mouse + Thermaltake Dasher Mini mousepad, a Razer BlackWidow X Chroma (Mercury Edition) keyboard, and a Logitech G430 headset. Hell - if I'm going to work in a call center, I'm going to do so in style. PC gaming has spoiled me lol. Dropped like $200 total... but at least I got them to price match w/ Amazon.
not a bad combogood luck!
I'm about to check on people's warranty information SO fast with those adjustable DPI settings,![]()

Ah yes, a founding wizard!I'm a developer as well. I'm working in a rather small company (10 employees atm), allowing me to do more than programming alone: meetings with customers, analysis, UI design, helpdesk, training courses etc.

We have these guys here that have been with the company since day 1, when it was barely an office, and they know everything and everyone![]()
I never knew what I want to do in the future. Even in kindergarten when all the kids wanted to be policemen and firemen I was like "What? That's dangerous, I just want to be a kid".
So here I am at almost 31 living the dream by living with my parents, unemployed.
Kids, make sure you have actual goals and dreams in your life.
