Thought we needed a new thread to show where we game and work!

Past threads

I have some changes since last time, instead of having just series s and a Mac mini m1, I now have added a new Mac mini m4, chanced to a series x AND playstation 5 pro.

I need some kind of a headphone stand like that, something that I can cover for the night to protect the cups from most dust. :thinking-face:

I got it from Ali express.:D or maybe it was amazon. but yeah I should think about dust too but haven't really had an issue with that, probably because I use them daily so maybe the handling of them shakes off the dust

Yeah I use mine daily as well but I guess my apartment is just a little more dusty at the moment. :rip:

It really just affects the velour parts, maybe other types of cup fabric would be more "dust resistant". Your appear to be some kind of more smooth material, p/leather perhaps?

Yeah or both, its soft velour inside that touched the ear but outside is pleather. Yeah not sure why they aren't dusty, since my desk is often dusty!

For smaller headphones Ikea has a decent stand for cheap LÅNESPELARE headset stand, ash veneer - IKEA
It does look nice but how small is small I wonder. Maybe someone has reviewed it somewhere and tested how much weight it can handle without tipping over. Not that I would know how much mine weigh of the top of my head anyway. :grinning-face:
I need to look at this more at some point.

I finally have a reason to post here.

Got a new PC recently and on top of it decided to redo a lot of my home office setup and furniture. Still need a few things, like a new chair or some accessories and cable management but for the time being I'm happy with what I have.

This is my fun/work combo setup.
Got a new monitor dual support and got rid of the built-in feet that occupied a ton of space.
Got a standing desk so I can have to option to stand up from time to time as it was something I felt I needed. Just in frame you can also see an under desk treadmill to pair with the desk and give me the chance to do some minor exercises while reviewing documents or stuck in unending meetings. The rest is old stuff I already had (shoutout to the ikea lamp that's over 20 years old and refuses to die).

Not pictured is the utter chaos that is the current state of this room. Moving stuff around, disassembling old furniture and assembling new one took the better part of the last 3 days and I'm exhausted. Still, I'm happy with the end result so it was worth it in the end.
