Thought we could have all Games With Gold discussion in one thread

Here is a list of all the games that were part of the games with gold program for both
Xbox One and Xbox 360

For reference: Xbox One games are yours only while you subscribe.
Xbox 360 games are yours forever

PS. Remember the golden rule. If they haven't announced the games by around the 25th
of the previous month, it's probably going to be a meh month.

Agreed. Pretty weak month. Mostly I keep my gold sub because it's like ~$1.3/per Xbox 360 game they give away (as they are on your account forever)

Haha, I actually DO feel this is a weak month. Again mostly because I judge them for the quality of the 360 games.

Not the X1 games. They are glorified rentals.

i honestly don't even remember what Livelock is anymore (without looking it up) .... i remember the name, and the logo ... but that's about it, lol

I think they're tapering down in offering larger games as freebies and focusing on Game Pass instead. Tho I think the 360 BC offerings have been good lately.

Have it on PC. Good game but not my cup of tea. I did make a perfect jail cell that had a mysterious toilet causing backflushes in the middle of the cell.

Prision Arch is good, really good... but I'm not sure it's a game that would really translate well to console. Simulation games like that generally don't, because you're left wrestling with the controller to do the simplest things. It's the whole reason I didn't double dip on the Switch release.

QUBE 2 is actually pretty cool. It was one of the free games w/Twitch Prime a while back. It's sort of like Portal, but not.
Never Alone is a little too fiddly for it's own good.

Celeste is awesome, WRC is not good on Xbox until recently the performance wasn't great and still waiting for a version with X enhanced.

I wonder how Far Cry 2 will play now.
