I saw Tizoc mention his referral link for Humble.

If anyone is planning to subscribe to the bundle for the first time, to get "Humble Classic" status, after Tizoc reaches his referral limit I would be really grateful if you could please consider using my link below:

Revealed content
I never referred anyone, and never even really attempted to make use of that link (I'm 0/30 in referrals :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:), but with my recent marriage and house move, I admit any additional funds to use on "disposable" gaming stuff would be most welcome. :)

thanks :cat-heart-blob:

Leave it to Square-Enix to randomly drop this right after I stopped thinking it would happen lol. Looking at wikipedia, seems like the console version only came out 4 months ago, though. For some reason, I thought that was just the switch version and that PS4 was way before that. Still, it's been long enough that full price is a hard pass. Also, where's the first one??

Oh for fuck's sake, it's a variable discount bundle but they made completely new DLC packages instead of using the existing ones, so no one actually gets an extra discount. I feel so fucking stupid for buying season 2 and 3 just a few months ago. Fucking hell, Capcom handle their DLC is such a scummy way...
Eh fornme it is fine
Who expected them to give away all characters for 25 dollars anyway? For me it means i get all 6 s4 characters along with loads of outfits and stages. Great deal for a good price imo. I also bought the chara season passes mind u.

i just wish the regional pricing on that one wasn't complete dogshit :(

guess they haven't learned anything from Octopath
Agreed. More folks should have the opportunity to be excited for the game rather than worrying about how to pay for it or having to accept they'll be forced to wait.

Being in the US we're always the baseline for where the pricing ends up and it's such a disappointment that it affects regional pricing so severely for some games depending on the publisher.

Yeah, it mostly stings because it wasn't that long ago that I bought the game. I was hoping for a little extra discount since I already own most of the characters but it's still a solid deal for the costumes and stages alone ( although that has more to do with their shitty business model for the game tbh). I was actually keeping an eye on some of those costumes/stages bundles in the last few sales and they were never discounted. If they had been and I had bought them THEN I'd actually be kinda pissed off right now lol.

I'm in the firm belief that publishes got together to discuss the topic "Fuck Regional Pricing".
the AAA ones certainly have ... pretty much all of them dropped it now completely (or are very close to doing so ... with the cheapest regions for some being like 30% off the US price)

it's just the publishers getting more and more greedy ... they're just trying to see how much money they can squeeze out of the poor countries

The issue is you have people defending these regional prices because of the USD baseline, or how they think people are cheap and will use a VPN to get games in other regions. You can't make any criticism without someone making those claims and now players from other countries are starting to think that regional pricing is a scam to get more money out of them. It doesn't help that different games are priced way different and there's no guideline so that they keep being consistent, just some publisher taking logistics data and call it a day.

this is literally impossible anymore ... if you don't have a payment method from that country, you're not buying anything on steam there, VPN or not

you can't even activate keys using VPN anymore

Also 古剑奇谭三 女王
That Yun'wuyue reveal after their clash against Wuzhao and the girl blew my mind. I mean I knew that she was a Fey and her human form was not her real one, but I did not connect that with the boss fight in the Ancient Cloister. Like damn, you fought her back then as the boss and she was badass. In retrospect it makes sooooo much sense.

Tizoc, do you know what DLCs one would need to buy (besides this one), to get everything?
I know this upgrade doesn't include some costumes, do you know in which DLCs are they included?

---

In other news, Sin Slayers just received a free expansion called Snow Peak:

The game is also currently on sale:

The game is very enjoyable, for those who like the genre, and has a good amount of content.
Capcom Pro Tour stuff isn't included.
Once you get that pack, just cross check with the DLCs in SF5's page and you'll know what you are missing. Chances are any future content aren't part of it...which is fine for me shrugs
So this version of SFV (base game + CE kit) contains all characters and costumes except for the promo stuff and pro tour DLC, right?
Yup.
It gives you 95% of the game's content at least, up til October/November.

Capcom regional pricing over here is by far the best in the industry, it's really fucking weird how they shit the bed elsewhere.

Like fuck man, the SFV CE bundle is ~10 USD over here, that's just peanuts

That's rigth, all chars, stages and costumes except things like Red Bull costumes, etc.

The 5€ discount for previous owners of the game and every Dlc season has to be the dumbest move by Capcom ever. Paying 25€ is nearly an insult at this point, considering that you are annoying the people that supported the game the most.

So Street Fighter CE is relatively cheap and packed with content, ok.
But how in hell will we be able to know which dlc isn’t included and can be safely bought without fear of double dipping ? I suppose the dlc list won’t check the ones you got because of the CE, right ?

As I have just said the only thing that can be missed are costumes, if you see some kind of brand promotion in a costume it will be probably not included in CE. Apart from that the rest should be included.

I won't speak for everyone, but I find Steam's Remote Play already covers most of the use-cases I'd have for streaming.

  • Play in any room in my house -- on any display even.
  • Play on my phone too!
  • Do all the above not only in my house, but anywhere!
And all of this with my existing library of games, all of Steam's existing features, and using any controller I want.

The main difference being that Remote Play uses your existing hardware, which will have limitations, especially as you move outside of your home. It's something Valve may offer eventually, but I feel I already get most of the convenience as-is.

And on somewhat of a tangent, I feel a streaming-only futures goes against everything that makes the PC platform fantastic.

I'd go even further and say that it would be a huge blow to gaming as a medium. The repercussions for preservation in particular are extremely dire.

So I've played for 15 hours now. There is 4acts. Im coming to end of first act. I've only just unlocked my home camp This is a massive system that let's you build anything and u can go out in world n form pacts with people monsters etc to help craft buildings at base from chicken hens to blacksmiths etc. When u have enough builders n materials to build something you then complete a lil mini game to build. ( chicken pen for instance involved helping a guy saw wood n stuff just some added fun) U then get workers at them places you build too. There's a fishing lake in this place and system is u fish in other places in gane n bring ur stuff back to ur lake to harvest easier.

I still wonder who's supposed to be the target audience for Stadia. It's a complete new platform with worse performances and a whole new library of games to buy again or subscribe to. People who already play videogames won't trade their platform for an inferior streaming one, nor will buy an extra copy of a game they already own (or a subscription) just to play (losing their saves, I suppose?) on the go, just to go back home and play on their main platform again. They have Switch for that. They have phones for that. People who don't like or never cared about videogames won't start magically caring now. So, who's this thing intended for?

IF Microsoft starts offering free streaming XCloud copies of all the games you buy on your XBOX or Windows PC with cross-saves then I can see people maybe giving it a try.

inb4 PS5 and Next Xbox outperform Stadia and leave it in the dust less than a year later.
PS4 already almost has that beat sooooo yea. I'm pretty critical of the whole concept and approach of Stadia but it seems crazy if this is really the potential being met here, I have to assume they are throttling performance for some reason right now.

The DQB2 news is great. Don’t think I will bother with the Switch version I have anymore. If I would be smart I'd sell my copy to finance the PC version but I am not smart and will probably pick it up sometime next year :fatchu:

It's weird due to it being free and from 2016, but Valves The Lab VR promo demo has some of the most fun mini games Ive played.

People who are about to get a VR headset in the future should download it and play it before anything else. It's a great introduction to VR.

I wish Capcom would mark the DLCs included as owned on Steam.
As it stands, it's a bit of a mess.

I previously bought the Pro Tour packs (the first one, at the time it was only purchasable in game, so even that isn't listed as being owned on Steam), so I wonder what else is not included.

I'll be checking when the game comes up.
If you come across any info, please do let me know, Tizoc. ;)
