Since I just heard it on the Giant Bomb GotY Podcasts: What did happen to the PC version of Onrush? Is it cancelled?

nothing (as far as we know)

they showed it once at the launch of that Chinese console thingy a while back (and even that wasn't really an official showing or announcement or anything - it's just that people actually managed to notice it being there and running on it)

and that's about it - we know it exists ... but they haven't said a word

Stonehearth is on the Top early access list. It left EA in unfinished state. Several promises were left out in the finished product. Me and a friend backed it together and he has played the game during early access. He wasn't impressed at all

It's unbelievable how I own so many games on Steam, try to follow most new releases, and still I end up completely missing some titles I would be interested otherwise.

For example, I completely missed that Kerberos Productions has a new game, a FPS/roguelike RPG hybrid, that looks pretty cool:

I got three more Hentai puzzle games in the first curator queue today! Someone must be cranking them out at a serious rate.

How can this games be profitable? There are a lot of free hentai in the internet, so who buys these games?
dunno ... desperate people? :p and they don't really have to be profitable - they're basically free to make ... it's not like they're drawing any of the art themselves, it's all stolen ... and they already have the "puzzle game" template ... so it's just a matter of replacing the images and boom - you've got a "new" "game"

we have reached the point where even us, people who follow the new releases and look for new games, miss a lot of the content, there are too many good products coming out and it's impossible to follow everything, no wonder why there are so many flops.

That makes sense. I had no idea they were using stolen art.

Since at this point I believe Dragon Quest Builders 2 has better chance appearing on Steam than 1 so I grabbed it on PSN sale after trying out the demo for 2.
These games are underrated gems, fell in love after the demo and had to get more, 2 is going to be so good with 4-man co-op. I really hope when they bring it to West it comes to Steam too since it doesn't seem to be getting the attention it deserves.

Hope for a PC release, too. Would like to play it in coop but I don't see myself getting a Nintendo Online or PS+ subscription for that.

Don't suppose anyone may know, but is something up with the saving in Quadrilarteral Cowboy?

I've saved at the hub after the missions and yet after exiting the game it put me back a couple of missions? the hell?

So what's my point?
I don't actually have one!
Doesn't seem to me like any of these numbers inherently correlate to each other.

Discoverability certainly isn't an issue for Obra Dinn, yet it seems to fail at translating it into sales, arguably people are just not interested in it despite its supposed quality (I know i'm not because of the art-style) or people just don't wanna buy it at launch.

Battletech had by far the most clicks on youtube, yet the lowest twitch peak of them all.

Average amount of reviews seems to be the same accross all games, only Obra Dinn, the most recent one sticks out,

The two games with the lowest metacritic/opencritic sold the most copies of these 4 examples.

Frostpunks sales are leagues above the other games, even though it's twitch and youtube numbers aren't.

I confess...I hadn't gotten Obra Dinn yet due to my backlog+its price point :X

I'm starting a college course in January so I'm limiting my game time, though I'd be playing only 1 game at a time and I still feel like I can reach 52 games cleared in 2019.
