Stick with Tim to try and get another EGS payday for their follow up game? Or maybe angle for a buyout? Those, of course only if they stay egsclusive
I’m surprised that Tim hasn’t been buying up studios left and right actually. Only temporary exclusives, which seems like such a short term strategy.

Yeah, unless Coffe Stain wants to sacrifice them for the glory of the holy 12/88 cut, there's not much financial sense in not releasing it on Steam.

It will gain more exposure and they will have 2 types of customers, new customers (people who don't know about the existence of Satisfactory due to it being on EGS, and people waiting for the Steam release) and double dippers (people using EGS only for Satisfactory and wants to throw EGS away when it's out on Steam).

Regarding Hades, I have no doubt thinking it has sold way way better on Steam than EGS.

I have no idea how Google search works and if it's biased, but using incognito mode, Hades Steam store page is on the first Google page when searching "Hades" on Edge (I don't use it so maybe the lack of cookies and search makes search less biased, don't know) and EGS page is on Google page 2.

And Supergiant seems to have stopped mentioning EGS ever since the Steam version was out.

Hey, Durante , dont wanna bother you too much, but do you know anything about the missing DLCs for Ys VIII, those that only Vita and Switch has? I just love those Deserted Pirate skins and it would be a great addition if NISA would allow them even as paid DLC for the PC ver.

Speaking of actual problems (not actual problems): wasn't EA supposed to release some old stuff on Steam after Star Wars? Where is it, EA?!
I was hoping to see Sims 4 this month still but now I don't think it's happening, after all EA has been so quiet. Maybe they're still figuring some stuff like achievements and a better way to integrate Origin, and once they do and implement these in Jedi we hear some dates. Here's hoping it doesn't take much longer.

I think they are figuring a way to make Origin implementation more like Xbox Live. No need for a client, just log in to your Origin account as a pop up when you start the game the first time and no more.

Xbox LIVE integration in Steam has been great for me.

The EA press release says "next year" and "spring", so no exact date,

Finally managed to do my picks.

GOTY:
  1. Disco Elysium
  2. Sekiro™: Shadows Die Twice
  3. STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™
  4. Yakuza Kiwami 2
  5. Red Dead Redemption 2

GOTD:
  1. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
The only GaaS on my list is right at the top. With all the custom modes and maps you'll never run out of new things to do.
  2. Mass Effect 2
Probably my favourite party members in any game. These loyalty missions are just the cream of the crop.
  3. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC
The whole trilogy is so unbelievably amazing but I like this one the most.
  4. The Witcher® 3: Wild Hunt
It's so easy to get lost in this immersive open world fantasy setting. The atmosphere is just top notch.
  5. Disco Elysium
Such a unique experience. It is amazing how this game manages to be extremely funny and serious at the same time.
  6. NieR:Automata™
Slashing some robots while listening to the amazing OST is just the best.
  7. Undertale
The best Indie Game ever created. Can't wait until we got more of Deltarune.
  8. Life is Strange
I really loved the sequel but I think I like this one more because it just feels more playful and happy. The likeable characters, the music and the school setting just fit so well together. (sorry lashman :face-with-stuck-out-tongue-and-tightly-closed-eyes:)
  9. Yakuza 0
I'd never thought I'd enjoy such a quirky and weird game but I ended up absolutely loving it. I wish more games would have insanely funny and crazy side quests like this one.
  10. Portal 2
Such a clever game that made me realize that I actually enjoy puzzle games.

As long as this still exist, I will have hope:

It will come, their twitter account left a post saying "top secret info" and that's pretty much a yes.

One thing that we can agree on at least is that if Bloodborne ever released on PC that game would sell over 3 millions units. 3 million for a fromsoft game on PC is not unheard of.
Bundle Demon Souls remaster + Bloodborne complete for 60$ = 5 million sold on steam.

Bluepoint pls

Im both gonna laugh and not be suprised if a PC version of Bloodborne outsells the PS4 version in matter of months.

However, I think it requires the game to also be released on Steam.

That and World War Z.

Ugh Nintendo can't even make their Eshop good. PSN look like a masterpiece compared to Eshop.
It's sort of mixed. eShop is way faster to access then PSN, PSN is slow!!! It will take time just for things to load, it feels as slow as Steam does during a big sale (and that's on a regular basis).

The issue with eShop is that it's just way too bare bones (especially when stuff like the 3DS eShop has more features than the N/S eShop).

PSN is just way to "curated", hey do you love JRPGs? Well here is FIFA,COD, and the typical AAA western stuff (we keep all them weeb games in the back)

The eShop, unless the game is on sale, or a top seller you likely will not even know that the game exist on the eShop, and I doubt that many games get features by Nintendo in that one section that they have. Nintendo does have that community thing that you sign up, for each individual game (which I guess is not technically part of the eShop?) And while it's a nice thought I have not really used it that much to see how good it is. It seems to function sort of the same way as the what's new thing in Steam.

At least there is an alternative to eShop Deku Deals - Nintendo Switch price tracking and wishlist notifications

There's a Steam logo at the bottom of the website for Marvel's Avengers:

According to Reddit, it previously said "PC", so I guess they updated it with the new release.

I have a lot of unplayed PS4 games. I wonder if I will ever get around to them.

I will at least try to finish Bloodborne at some point.

--------

So I talked to my instructors for the classes that I will be taking and good news the Com Sci class that I was going to take is offered at the same time and day every semester. So this means that I will just be taking one class, while doing my full time job, that should hopefully be manageable and I should be able to save up enough money to get another car (It has already been over a year and a half since I last drove a car) and that should make getting to class a lot easier.

I will still have time to play games.

Catching up on news. Based Durante doing ports for all sorts of things makes me really happy.

Ys VIII deserves it and CS3 is gonna be lit.

His cheeky answer of "more than zero and less than 4" projects in the works is like maybe the best videogame innuendo I have ever seen. Massive applause.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I mean he explicitly DID NOT confirm anything. But he definitely worded it that way for a reason, I hope.
Eh, I feel Zero is reaching a bit at this point. Falcom hasn't even released the Crossbell Kai games in Japan, and translating the Crossbell games will take easily a year or more, so I doubt a PC port is being worked on now. I could be something planned, sure, but "in the works" seems far to early

Ceville crashes on me from time to time and I sadly forgot to save prior to another crash happening :S
If one is playing it, make sure to save before and after leaving an area, particularly starting in Act 2 onwards, but even during Act 1, if you made progress by getting an item or whatever: SAVE
I'll give the game this one praise; it has reflections, they may not be perfect reflections but the fact that it has them is interesting.

I'm an idiot.... All of this time I never bothered to check if I still had my old PC stuff. So the reason why I got a new PSU was because I thought I lost a cable for my Corsair PSU. The reason I ended up buying a screw set for my PC was because I thought I threw those things away. That was not the case. Had I bothered to look through some of my old stuff I would have found a lot of things that I still need/can use and did not have to spend over $130USD on stuff that was necessarily. I got my replacement PSU from Seasonic but I still have not but it inside of my computer. So money sort of wasted. My Corsair PSU was missing a Sata power cable and well I just found it today, I was missing screws so that I can place a SSD in my HDD drive bays and I just found them today as well.

So I finished the first dungeon/palace in Persona 5, great stuff, but now I have come to the part where I have to wait 11 days for a change of heart in order to continue the story, which is pure bullshit, I have no idea what Im gonna do to wait all those days. This just killed all my motivation to play which is sad as I have so far found P5 to be a great game.

Tried my second Mobile game today. (after pokemon go a year ago)

Azure Lane

Looks very deep and extensive don't know about the f2p stuff, but didn't come into a barrier yet where I had nothing to do unless I spend xyz.
Battle system isn't to my liking though, don't like bullet hell shmups very much.
Would much more prefer a game that has a more tactical combat like Daiteikoku or so.

Hang out with your friends or do some side activities

And savor it. The game is only going down from there
